    Show cause notice issued against absent without leave

    I have issued a show cause notice against an executive for absent without leave. How can I make this experience a strong one and memorable too? Please suggest a solution.

    Everything can be count as memorable if it ac
    ts effectively.
    but before it you should know the proper reason of leaves.
    after this you should try to adopt any strict action against the absent employees like
    Huge penalties
    notice of rejection in future if it happens again
    overload of works and other task too.
    I think it is not so good but balancing for official environment it is important. so do it right now

    See it is important for you to maintain in discipline in the office so that the working environment could be maintained.

    First of all as you have written ask for him/her for the cause of leave depending upon the reason you must take an action as it is your duty too.

    If there is a disciplinary problem(that is if you could not find a proper reason) than you must take a strict action.

    You can give salary punishment by cutting that days pay, you can assign him some extra work for a week to show him the work loss due to his leave, you can

    also give him a warning that if in future it happens again he could be temporarily suspended without pay, or demoted to lower level position or his salary will be

    reduced.

    Please don't give unnecessarily strict punishments until the problem is serious as it will have a negative effect and the aim behind the punishment would not be

    attained.
