Should I serve one month notice when have doubt the company will not pay for that month?

I work in a small share broking firm and as per rules the employee should serve a notice period of 1 month. I am afraid that my boss will not give me the salary of the month if I give prior notice before leaving. What should I do?

You have to be confident and truthful.
You tell him that you will not be coming for the job from the next month.
He will ask for the reason tell him the actual reason, if he find it to be valid then ask
him whether you will be getting salary and get him convinced.
Or get the salary and dont go to the office from the next day onwards they are not going to find you.

    Hi friend
If you are working with a registerd firm or company and had recieved the joining letter then you should not worry about payment option.
First of all you should concentrate on your work neither on selary.
If you will get any difficulties regarding the selary then contact to your hr or finance deppartment.
If you do not get any probelem's solution then can go to consumer court for solution.

Hi i think you surely will be given the salary till the time you work in the office if you serve your notice period in advance. There are no such rules regarding this.

Dont be afraid and do what is right and just. And if your boss tries to do such underhand things, complain about him to the HR dept. They will surely punish him for such underhand things. PLus your new job is more valuable to you .

    Best of luck. Thanks

    Hi,

You need to follow proper work ethics in your professional life.
Not serving the notice period is not good as the hiring company has to suffer for this.
You need to understand that they have been providing you with salary till this point of time
and not serving the notice period is absolute betrayal with the company.

Also not serving the notice period will result in the company not providing you with
any experience letter or proper relieving formalities. This will result in future problems for
you, when you decide to search for other job options.

Considering the next part of your question, I don't think its possible on your boss's part
to deny you a month's salary if you have worked for that duration.

You can considering going to the finance dept., HR dept, higher authorities in the company,
consumer court, in that order in case of this issues.
Also in case you have some doubt regarding this, it is better to keep a proof of your attendance for this
month ex - take a xerox of your attendance forms etc.

    Hope this helps!

    Dear friend,

You need not to worry for the same, as no company can violate the rules for salary payment as per contract with the employee. So it is advisable, you should serve the notice period and in case they do not give you payment for that particular month , then you can raise this issue in labor court, by producing all the relevant documentary proof. But prior to that you must tell them in written that you did not get salary of that particular month if they do not give you salary after that even, then you can go to labor court.

    All the best.

    Hello Friend,
There is nobody can stop your salary if you work in any firm.
as you are saying you are in notice period so after that day you will get the release letter.and it will specify the date of your start and to end.
and you should get salary up to that.
before giving release they need to give clearance from all department and if you dont get clearance form salary perspective you take legal action and thats fair as you have all relevant documents.
they wont take that type of silly ation of stopping one employees salary as that will hamper the company prestige if that goes public.
    thank you.
