Should I leave my job as my boss is setting a bad example for the employees?

I am working in a government organisation. Our boss drinks and smokes in front of the employees inspite of the strict rule in our company prohibiting the employees from drinking or smoking at our workplace. In this way he is setting bad example for all the employees. I feel like leaving my job as our boss himself, is such a bad person. Will this be the right decision?

As you are working in a government organisation which is really hard to get, you cannot take such decision due to the reason given by you.

See you are not the one who is setting bad example or you haven't committed any mistake so why you should punish yourself. It is your

boss who is not behaving properly. He is the one who should be punished.

Quitting from the job will not effect your boss in any sense so there is no reason or benefit for you in quitting from the job. See if you don't

want to work under him you can apply for the transfer by this you will not have to work under him and also you can continue your job without

    any difficulty.
