Should I keep in touch with some of my previous company’s colleagues after leaving that job?

I am working in a government organisation. My termination from my previous company was a bitter experience and I want to forget everything about it. But I made some very good friends there and am thinking of remaining in touch with them. On the other hand I am afraid that such a thing would bring all the bitter memories back. What to do in such a situation?

    Hello Friend,

Well, it is upto you to decide whether you should keep in touch with the colleagues of your previous company's or not. Generally, it is always a better option to have in touch with some of your colleagues. You need to differentiate professional contacts and memories of the past otherwise you will not be able to concentrate on present situation. You should take a professional approach and interact with them occasionally. This will help you to reduce your mental and physical work related fatigue and who knows some connections might be useful in the near future.

    Bye,

    sir..
No matter how bad was your experience of the previous company and the termination associated to that but at the same time the worth of the friends you have made should not be over looked in any case .

If you have made the friends whom you feel are really good and worth to you and they are always to support you and you can approach them in your hard times then do keep in touch with them.

Also sir , to face the challenges and difficulties is the real face of life and one should be such strong enough to let go these things and try maintain a peace of mind at each level.

    Thank you

    Hi,
As you mention that you have some good friends there, so dear if they are good then i am pretty sure that they are good and suggest you that be in touch with them. Also you mention that "you have some bitter memories in previous job" then also forgot all things. Just remember your good friends. You will get some positive energy and focus on your new job.
Because sometimes some people are good but due to some incidents we loss them. So be in touch with those good friends, either they help you in future or not.
This is my opinion and i am pretty sure that you thought for sometime and take good & wise action.

    Thanks

If your friends in the previous organizations were good , than you should be in touch with them
Its not always necessary that it will remind you of bad things only
In your previous organizations you should have some good memories also and you should just rebember that
Also its not always necessary that you should laways talk about office work with your friends
Sometime you ahve some bad experiences with your close family members , but that does not mean you leave them
So be in touch with your friends from your previous company

    Hi friend,

It not good to loose your very good friends because of some bad or bitter memories.

Just think of the good days that you have spent with them instead of remembering those bad memories that happened to you...

Its hard to forget but time is the thing that cures everything.

So do not think of the past and just focus on the future.

As you are saying that they are your good friends so do not loose them as they would also help you in healing what has happened to you.

You can earn money but you cannot earn good friends whenever you want so do not leave them.

HOpe i have helped you in getting relevant information.

    All the best

    Thanking you...

    DEAR,
It is good to make friends and i think you should not break your friendship because of this reason.
Dear many things happen in every persons life which are against our will and they leave bad experiences on us.
But it is not good that we should forget those are good to at that time or who are our friends. This will help you in your profession also.
Thus i personally suggest you to be in touch with them and try to come out from those memories.

    Hello..,

Yes it really feels painful so recall about the things that are related to our declination or embarrassing moments. Generally what people do is, they try to remove all the memories of the related things. This helps them a lot. Now in your case you have both sweet and bad memories. If you have well settled with your new job and don't want to recall the past job conditions ,then don't. It is always better to move on in one's life leaving behind the bad memories.
But if you have very good friends in that firm then your friendship should be that strong that it over rules those bad memories. So keep a healthy relation with them . Friends are a part and parcel of your life. They are there in your happy and old memories. So keep your friendship on

    Thank you

    Hello friend

See you can't forget everything what had happened in your past, you can just make your present better and engage yourself in the present so that you have no time to remember such incident even in your dreams and you are in the correct path,in the new government sector you can engage yourself well.

But this doesn't at all mean that you forget your old friends and colleague working in that company, besides you should be in touch with them and also take out some time from your busy schedule to meet them in holiday.we feel very happy and full of joy when we meet our old friends ,we share our feeling there and talk about old memories which give us immense pleasure and we forget our all responsibility and all work loads,it calms us a lot.So remaining in touch with your old friends is always good.
You can talk about your new job and share your feelings and views with them.

    All the best

    Thank you.

    Hi Dear,

Every period of time has bitter and sweet memory to gift us but that does not mean that we wipe out that particular period of time from our mind and life. We always treasure sweet memories of any period and erase the bitter memory from our mind.

Hence, you should try to remain in touch with those people whose thought bring a smile on your face and remain away from people whose thought give sourness to you.

If your friend from your previous firm are your well wisher, then always remain friends with them and give them importance as its very difficult to have good people around us.

    Thanks.

    Hello Aspirant,

It is quite natural to remember the past evidence, because of being human being. It is more possible because you had some of your good friends there.Since you are afraid for recalling the incidents which had heartened you,it is not advisable to remind your past friends. You can entertain them when they contact you for a limited time & use. Also you can entertain them when you come across them suddenly but up to your personal purposes.

In general the person should avoid the things which heartened & should try to do better in life by doing good things.

    All the best.
