    Should I join a new company which offers 40% hike in salary but low designation?

    I am working with a real estate company and I got a call from same industry for the job. They were offering 40% hike than my current CTC. After interview and discussions I got the offer letter form the company but get disappointed after seeing that they were giving me junior profile. Currently I am working over a senior profile. Please guide me, what to do? Should I reject the proposal or not?

    40 % of hike in salary is Good but your Grade is down so you have good senior profile can maintain so salary is not important designation is also impartent because the experience of senior profile can counted in future carrier you can reject and search another take chance you get good salary job with good designation

    As you are a fresher i advice you to work in this company for 4 months,,it does not matters that you have a lower designation in company,but that try to get experience in this field with in your working period...meanwhile pen your applications for other real estate companies also....

    As you are a fresher i advice you to work in this company for 4 months,,it does not matters that you have a lower designation in company,but that try to get experience in this field with in your working period...also pl do not sign in any bond agreements ,only then you will be in safer side...meanwhile pen your applications for other real estate companies also....

    Better to join in new company. If you want high salary then join in new industry. Because you will get good salary If it is good company then you can get good position in future and they may hike your salary after getting experience in their company.

    After getting experience then you can try in some other company.

    You have to take the decision, what you opt for money or career.
    If you need money and you are confident that you are good at what you do then, your designation never matters.
    You have to work below others but your experience will reward you.
    If you opt for money and have confidence then go for the new company.
    Or wait for other opportunity while you work in the same company.

    Now you are holding a senior profile.

    This will do better for you in future.

    You will be getting experience holding a senior profile.

    So it is advisable to continue the same job and try for another job .

    Hi guest,since you have a two option first high salary with low post and low salary with high post. As you are fresher, you must continue with the company where you are working, because at the initial stage of carrier money does not have much importance. Even if you apply in big companies for job, they will see at which post you were working at last job, they will not see how big salary you were getting. So it's clear if you prefer higher growth of yours and your carrier continue with the same company. But if you prefer higher salary you may go to another company. Thanx.

    1.First you should see the company's balance sheet confirm whether the company is earning good or running in loss.

    It depends on your needs. If you are in need of money I suggest you to accept the proposal else I recommend you to please do not leave your current position. Going from high position to lower position only for the money may not be the brilliant decision at all. You can earn a good package at any time with senior profile and there will be more hike in your CTC. But when you work on junior profile then the chances of promotion in salary and status are low. So I recommend you to work hard on your current profile and perform well, by doing this you will surely have a more salary and better chances of promotion. Also keeps on trying in different companies so you can have a good experience and you may also find a senior profile with more income.

    It's advisable to decline the offer because



    • Designation matters
    • You can get good hike based on your designation and experience in any other company
    • Being in a junior profile for 2-3 years will not give career growth
    • Search for a job matching your profile
    • Lot of Job opprotunities is prevailing . Try it out .

    According to me that you must have to join the company which offers you 40% hike in salary but low designation because your designation doesn't prove your ability but your profile effects. I will suggest you not to be engaged with such a company which gives you low salary on a high designation. Because designation means the responsibility and when the designation increases you must have to be approve to have the other benefits and allowances given by your company. If you are not getting all these then what is the meaning of your designation in that company. So don't try to think anymore, just join the organization which is giving you hike salary of 40% either giving the lower designation.

    In my views a candidate want high profile and also good selary.
    So you choose the way that what do you want to?
    As:
    -->GOOD PROFILE
    -->GOOD SELARY
    you must be spent some more months in same company where you are working currently.
    Because with good profile and good selary you will get a high profile and exellent selary in other company when you have been taking2 twn 5 years experince.

    hey dear its up to you as what you feel important salary or the profile?
    if you are hard worker than you can achieve the same salary in the particular company you working in.... and the position will be also of senior position...... if you join new company they may load you the work and better salary than previous company and as junior post... its not done... so be in the company where you are working and try to make the high salary level in with senior post........... all the best

    If any company is offering 40% salary hike with low designation then its better not to go for that option because designation is what it matters.

    If you are in a high designation then with this experience you can approach any good company which will provide you not only high salary but also a better designation,

    if you are career oriented and expect a better career growth then stick to your job now and if you get an opportunity to of a better job with good salary figure and designation then you can switch it.

    As you have mentioned that company will provide 40% hike salary in respective to other company ,
    then why are tens? You should join this company immediately. At present time this opportunities never come again
    . Whatever matter that your post is low. And the true fact is that if company give you 40% salary hike, then
    surely they will give you good designation.
    you can change your designation with the help of performance.

    =If you want to earn money and with confident that you are good at what you do then your designation never matters.
    =You have to work hard at low desingnation If you opted the low destination job.
    = if only for better desimgnation then dont go for switch the company
    Or wait for other opportunity while any notification will come according your quallification

    Dear..

    According to me you should go for the offer. Usually what happens that in case we go for an interview interviewer always ask us about the salary that we were getting in the previous company and offer salary more than that only so in your case if you go for this offer then next time you will be able to get more salary then this offer. Also your post does not matter a lot as your years of experience is ultimately increasing. You are a senior and experienced person than you will be able to work here easily at this profile and soon you will again be promoted so i advice you to go for the offer.

    Hi,

    If in the current company you are on Senior Profile and quite satisfied with your growth and having no issues & there is no urgent need then I will give suggest you to reject that proposal. There are so many companies, later on you can give an interview anywhere and can join on the position which you want.If you have talent then the company will never let you go and will fulfill all your demand.

    The hike(40%) which you were offered is not so much, its just normal.So if you will stay in your current company for some more time, your experience will get increased and you will be offered a good package too.

    Congratulates! you to got offer letter from new company with 40 % hike salary. According to me 40 % hike salary is so more important for you and as well as to get designation. But you have got one both of them. But you must go to join that position as soon as possible. And you can also get high position if you stay there and have ability. And surely they will give you a high position because your new company know well about you and your previous work. Please don't hesitate for designation. You can change your designation on your performance bases. If I am on your place definitely I am gone.

    No friend,

    You should not join with less salary because you should increase salary when ever you changed the company.
    Once you joined with the 40% hike salary you value will be decreased.
    So,be stay in your company only and ask your company or manager to increase the salary.If you have the more experience then you should expect the high salary in all companies.
    So,join in reputed companies if you have more experience.
    Finally,don't join in low designation always prefer the high designation field only.

I certainly think that you should not accept this junior position and continue with your senior position though with less salary..This is certainly not good for your future to go from a senior to a junior position..I think with your hard work and dedication you can certainly get a good salary hike even at your current position so you should certainly reject this offer for now..But if you are in dire need of money and thus want to take up this new job or for any other personal reason then i think you should contemplate and analyse this situation once more and not take any decision in haste..

    Its better you search for a new job somewhere else if you think there is no professional growth for you here and thus you will see there are certainly better opportunities for you outside this company and you will certainly get a good paying job on a good position in acordance with your experience and calibre..So dont fall prey to such jobs which degrade you to a low position without appreciating your calibre..

    Switching a company with low designation wont help you a lot because you have to go through the same hurdles and same path which you have come across during your old company to reach the same designation.CTC hike varies for company to company may be you are getting good CTC hike there but you will get much more if you get any better company in future with same designation and one more thing if you continue to work with your previous company they may hike your salary or hike your designation then you will be in a leading position in your career .
    so my friend with higher the designation higher the salary comes so dont rush to any decission check with other companies how much amount they pay to a person who works in the same designation as you are in your company i am sure you will be amazed.

    I don't suggest this for you.

    It is important for every employee to have good career growth.

    Every one tries to increase hierarchy level but not to decrease just for the sake of salary.

    If not this company, you can get higher level designation in another company.

    But don't join in low level designations just for the sake of salary.

    Once you get higher level designations also, you can get high salary.

    Once you designation increases, your responsibilities will increase and the time that you spend in production will be decreased.

    ctc really don't matter when your working on senior profile... it always decides on your experience and work profile for future growth... shifting from senior profile to junior profile is not good for future it gives a negative impact on your future.. it shows that you have less standards of work and you will be misunderstood by many company people better don't go for the job please its the matter of your career.. so be cautious in choosing because you may not get salary hike immediately but you will surely get hike and good career based on your experience also....
