Re: Should I give resignation if I am not being paid?

If you have given the proper resignation as per the company policies, then you must received your salary. If they doesn't provide you that, then I suggest you to please reach the company and gather information about that issue by meeting with higher authority. There might be possibility that your salary may be on hold, but this can only be confirmed by reaching there. If you didn't get any respond from that side, then I suggest you to please file the case in RTI (RIGHT TO INFORMATION) about your salary. If the issue is not clear by the company before filing then you can give them the indication about your filing case in RTI. Surely, after this indication company will respond to you, and if they didn't then please proceed with the RTI procedure.Hope for the best, getting your salary is your right.

It is 100% correct nobody works freely in this World. You are asking if you are not paid you should resign.Whenever you go to resign you are to think over:-

1.Before tendering resignation you are to think about experience certificate through which you may be provided by other employer.

2.When you join Were there any agreement re-payment of salary.

3.If yes you can justifiably demand for salary.

4.And if there is no such agreement your main object was to learn work and for 1(one)experience certficate to obtain.

5.Last of all after learning work and achieving experience certificate you can submit your resignation gladly.

    Thank You,

Re: Should I give resignation if I am not being paid?

    Dear friend,

    The question is not full.

you have not mentioned where you are working and since how long you have been working ,the reason for not being paid.

If you are not being paid then your decision is right to resign from the job.

But it also depends on the organisation or department where you are working. For example If you are an employee of

the state govt. and office where you work, comes under plan, you may get the payment at a time of many months

because this type of offices get sanctioned for expenditure every year till it gets permanent.

So you must know in details about your office establishment.

If the financial position of you r organisation is not good and it is not able to make payment, you have to resign and try for another job.

    Thanks.

If you have provided your resignation letter then they must provide you the last months salary.
This is the practice followed in MNC's, and other companies.
You can talk with the company management or HR or manager and come to a conclusion.
If you have a copy of the resignation letter and whom you have addressed the resignation letter teh you can proceed with the complain to the higher management or a case in the labour court.

If the company is not salary only for you then you can ask your Manager or HR. If the company is not giving for all the employ then you can resign for the job.

Before resigning for the job you need to think about your experience certificate. You have to show the correct reason for resigning the job otherwise you cannot get experience certificate.

To get experience certificate you have to work at least one year. otherwise you cannot get experience.

If you signed on bond then compulsory you need to work until completion of bond period. otherwise you have to pay the money to the company. And you will face the problems .

Hi guest, Resignation from the Job is not an only way to get arrear of salary. There are many ways through which you get the salary. Firstly you must talk with the manager/HR of your company, ask him/her why you haven't received the salary yet , In case of disappointed from him, contact with Directors of the company and they will pay you and you can continue the job. And at last if nothing works, file an complaint in court against company for non payment of the salary. Hope it helps you

If you've got given the right resignation as per the corporate policies, then you want to received your wage. If they does not offer you that, then I recommend you to please reach the corporate and gather info this issue by meeting with higher authority. you have not mentioned wherever you're operating and since however long you've got been operating ,the reason for not being paid.
If you're not being paid then your call is correct to resign from the duty.
But it additionally depends on the organisation or department wherever you're operating. For example If you're Associate in Nursing worker of
the state govt. and workplace wherever you're employed, comes below arrange, you may get the payment at a time of the many months
as a result of this kind of offices get sanctioned for expenditure per annum until it gets permanent.
thus you want to grasp in details concerning your workplace institution.
If the money position of you r organisation isn't sensible and it's ineffectual to form payment, you have to resign and check out for an additional job.

Dear, Friend your question is not complete. Because you have not mentioned on what basis your working because some insurance comany payee the employee on the commission basis. But your desion to quit the job was right no one work for free, one should get any things in the name of salary. Firstly you should talk smartly with your finance manage r regarding after this if they refuse to give better outcome. Then you can file a case against that company. If possible than take your experience certificate before fileing any case. Good luck

    Hello

You could have mentioned some details about why you are not being paid , what company you are working for etc

Still from your question just one thing is clear that you are not being paid but you are still working. Yes it better to resign and search for some other work rather than work and work with no return in sight.

another thing before resigning you can atleast try once to know the reason why they are not paying you and consult with your seniors and managers to solve this problem asap. If that doesnt bring any positive change then just quit

    Thank you

Hi friend .. You will certainly be paid your remaining salary before you leave the company according to the regulations of the company..Every company settles the acccounts of its employees who are going to resign or have resigned..There is no exception to this..

First you should see that you have completed all the formalities from your own side i.e. completed your notice period which is the main criteria..If you have done so then your company will surely pay you..Go and talk to your manager regarding this and he will surely help you out in this and tell you the reason for the delay of your salary..He will tell you that whether its a fault from your side or their own side that you have not received your salry yet..

These things are very comon in private companies and i can give you an example of my Father who has not received his 3 months salary yet even after 9 months of his resignation..Go and talk to your manager or HR and dont worry you will surely get your due but you have to have patience..Also you can file a complaint against them if things go out of hand..

    Good luck and Thanks

    hello sir

If you have resign from your company quite officialy with proper documentation then you are liable to ask for salary. For this purpose you must talk to the higher official of your company and ask them to give your left money

You can take legal action against the company but for that you must have proper document and evidence to prove your self right and legitmate

You must have completed all the formalities of the company before going so please ensure that you have done all the jobs before resignation

You are not here to work at free of cost.

Similarly, the companies also will not like to use your service for free of cost.

Something wrong happened from the point of company in your case.,

First go to the manager and explain him about to this,

He will follow upto the HR people.

If it is not resolved, you can directly contact your HR people.

They will do in favor of you definitely.

    Hello Friend,
First of all you have not provided all details in your question.like where you work and why you are not getting paid ..etc,so better write complete question to get a proper reply.
now coming to your situation it is mandatory for every company or organization to pay the employee if works for the company and they cant stop the salary for any reason.
they may take any other action for your mistakes like giving warning letter, charging fine...suspending for some days or terminating.but stopping salary is very bad thing ,and if its a genuine case with you, then you should sue the company for there unethical behavior.

Re: Should I give resignation if I am not being paid?

    Hey!
Your case is a typical case of harrasment by your employer. You should raise your voice against such injustice that is being done to you. You need to bring it to the notice of the higher authorities that they you are being inadequately paid. You do not receive your salary. You should also tell them that when you were being recruited you were told that you will receive your salary on a fixed date.

I am sure that the HR Department will make an effort to look into the matter. There might be a genuine problem because of which the company is unable to pay you in time. If that is the case then you can continue with the job. If the HR people have made it a habit then you should definitely give your resignation letter to them. Also in the letter mention very elaborately that the inability of the company is you reason for resigning.

In todays time when people have to struggle a lot to work then it is no fun working without being paid. You should tell your boss that you are not able to manage the expenses of your family this way. If no solution is reached then you should simply resign. Look for a better job. All the best!

Irrespective of your performance, the company should give you the agreed salary.

This is as per your salary package.

Its not professional to pay you low as you are resigned from the job.

You can take this to the HR department along with your manager.

    Question them for the reason.

Still no use, take it to higher level people.

If you are not being paid then why you want to give resignation, just go to the HR and screw their *** because if yoiu are working for any organisation then their responsibility is to pay on time as you are not a mechine that only works.
If you are fed up with the company attitude then you should do something like that by which the company will not do it again with you.
Drag the company to the court for the same as taking the work from an employee without salary is a punishable offence and they will be punished for the same.
After that give the resignation with the notice period of 1 month so that after 1 month they will give you all the clearence along with the pending salary also.
So it will be better if you give some lesson to the companies.

well every employee want salary which is required for running his family,to fulfill his needs and requirements.. there is no sense to work for an company if your not paid for you did a good thing better join a company which pays salary to an employees.. this action of yours is justified you cannot work for company for free when they feel you should work for company then the management should be responsible to pay salary to an employee after all employees work for salary they cannot live with out....

Since you have resigned and if company has accepted your resignation .
And all the legal formalities are done then you can now claim on your previous time salary that is been pending on the company and by any chance copany can not deny paying you your right and your money you worked for!

visit the company and talk to the manager about the issue . After negotiating the manager would fix a particular date to you when you can come and pick your salary cheque.

So fix a date and make sure you go and get yur payment done that day positively.

    Thank you
