Shall an employee provide training to new comer if the prior gets fired without information?

I worked to work as operations manager in a reputed automobile company. Sometimes I was asked to bring the vehicle from yard to showroom in absence of drivers. Unfortunately one day a vehicle was damaged by me for which my employer fired me hired a new employee without being in my knowledge. Now the manager is asking me to train him for 15 days. Am I bound to do this?

    Dear,
I think you are not bound for it as you have paid for the offence by your job, hence it is up to you whether you can provide training or not.
Your boss or the employer has done wrong by taking your job for compensating the damage and now it is your turn.
You have to be a little bit bold in dealing such situation.

Hope you query is being satisfied for other problems post your problems in professional queries.

    Hi,

The answer to your question is Yes/No... so confused....

You can say no to any work, when you know the art of saying no but saying no is not good thing and impact upon the human impression...

And yes you have to work and train the new comer for the remaining period of service...

Your boss might not have good ethiques but you should have the same....this thing you have to say to your boss indirectly...

    Dear Aspirant,

It is unfortunate for you to be damaged one of the new vehicle while parking from yard to the show room.Need not worry much, because only working men can commit any mistake.I don't think there would be any human being who had not committed any mistake.

It is in practice to train new comers by the seniors. If you don't obey the order of the manager, you may be charged for disobedience of order of the senior, for which action can be taken against you after getting explanation from you.So try to avoid it.You can do one thing. You may not train new comers properly, but avoid disobediency.

    Thanks & good luck.

    Hello,

You have to see wheather your job agreement provides such provison or not.
If there is no provision then the question of training does not arise. But your
boss should have informed you about it. Generally all new people are trained
by seniors form the organization but since you are no longer in the organization
then why should you provide training to him.

    Bye,
