    Are salary packages also revised if the company is been taken over?

    2 years back Rajasthan Bank was overtaken by ICICI Bank. Although the staff remained unchanged but I wanted to know that if such things happens for other concerns too, will the salary packages for such employees too increases or it just remains the same as it was before?

    Its depends on company overall, they increase salary or not. But I am sure that they may increase employees salary when company are overtaken by any company. A compensation package is the combination of benefits that an employer offers to employees. This may include wages, insurance, vacation days, guaranteed raises and other perks. Strong compensation packages are often used to attract and keep good employees. and to promote certain company values. A business that does not pay the highest wages may still be competitive by offering free or inexpensive childcare to employees.

    Dear Aspirant,

    It depends upon the terms & conditions upon which the employees will be incorporated in the new organisation.In practical,It should be equal to the employees of the new organisation of equal rank because equal pay for equal pay principles aplly here.

    Suppose one clerkial staff is getting Rs.20,000/per month salary,then the employee from the Rajasthan Bank with equal rank should also get Rs20,000/month salary.

    So you need not worry for this.This will be applicable to all of you.If you all get lesser pay than the original employees of ICICI,then you can get it with the help of court.

    So first get adjusted in the new organisation & then fight for your right.Though initial protest should also be done jointly so that the conditions of protest may not arise later.

    Hi,

    Yes it might happen.
    But it all depends on the policies of the new owner of the company.

    In order to boost up the confidence of the employees,he might increase the salary!

    But make sure that you keep working hard and take out results from you!
    If you do so,then you are sure to get an increase in the package!
