    Salary negotiation refused after joining, lesser salary amount handed over

    I have joined a new company on the grounds of the agreed salary. During my interview, salary figure were negotiated and decided. After joining, I had received 30 per cent lesser salary. I tried to talk it out with my current boss but it got cold shouldered. Do you think that I should clear the issue with him?

    You should definitely go and sort out your issues related to your salary with your boss, because if it was said that you will be provided a particular monthly salary and now if they are not providing it, its completely their fault. Therefore, you should ask them personally to hand over your remaining amount and if they do not agree, the best way is file an RTI against them

    hi,
    well yes you should talk to your boss about this. it must be some confusion that you are facing. be brave as this is your issue and if you will not confront it with the management you will never know about the truth.
    some companies offer even less salary during the training period of employees and after that the promised amount is given so you can clear out the confusion.

    Dear Aspirant.,

    It is not good to hear.But lesser salary can only be paid to an employee in case the financial position of the company/organisation is not good.You have to see whether all the employees have got lesser salary as you.If it is so,you need not worry much,but you should try to get new job as early as possible.

    If you only have been paid lesser salary ,then you must remind the management by writing the same along with a copy of the offer letter in which you might have got in writing about the salary & other perks that you will get after joining the job.Hope it is a clerical mistake which will be corrected after getting request letter from your end.

    If not you can represent the same to the employer.

    hi,

    you must have an offer letter of this company in which all your salary and component is enclosed. First read all the document and find out that all the points are there or not at the time of disscussion of salary. If they are there you can directly contact to your HR or Manager saying that my pay is not per the structure. And in proof you can show your offer letter.

    This is not very common in the professional sector that the employee is not given the salary which was decided during the interview,instead he/she is given a much lesser amount.This type of issue should be resolved as fast as possible to bring back the concentration towards work since this kind of issues can disturb any individual a lot and hamper his/her concentration at work and can divert the focus away from the work.

    You should definitely clear this issue because it is not only an unprofessional act depicted by the organizations but is also hampering your income.Since you are not getting the respectable amount of salary as decided and what you deserve,so you definitely have the right to question about this and clear this issue.

    However,there can be various reasons to this kind of problem.

    -The company may be running at a huge loss which might have compelled it to reduce the salary of its employee resulting in the reduction of your's salary.

    -There may not be ample number of clients and work to do for you for which the company would have thought of during sanctioning of your salary amount.

    -There can be some mistakes committed in the accounts section.

    So you should clear out all the issues by exercising your right to information.You can definitely approach the higher authority and enquire the reasons as to why your promised salary is not been given.Before this,you can approach the accounts section to enquire whether there is some mistake.After knowing all the issues,do as directed by the higher authority.If your salary is not met,you can switch to some other company.

    Yes dear definitely you should go to your boss and ask them that when you were promised me to give fixed salary or salary was decided and now i did not receive enough according to your promise and got less than 30% of that salary amount so please tell me that why did you do it with me and if there is any issue or mistake i have done during this month then please let me know about that and you must have informed me before deducting a huge amount from my salary but you did not do this and directly give me a huge shock so please sir tell me that actual cause and if i am fair and have not done any type of mistake then please give me my complete salary otherwise i will have to leave the job right now and this thing will spoil the image of the company because if you will do the same with another one then you will not get any fresh employee again in your company and if they say that you will get your complete salary from next month then you should accept this and wait for next month because private jobs are private where you have not right or authority to fight for your rights
