Provident fund account transfer from private company to Central Government?

Right now I got a good job which is based on central Government and now I need to shift everything from the previous private company to the present including the Provident fund account. So can you please tell me what procedure we have to follow for moving the provident fund account from private company to Central Government?

    Dear Aspirant,

Now a days there are no much different in govt. jobs & pvt.jobs.There are no pension facility as it was in the past,in govt. jobs.

So in govt. sectors also EPF is maintained. In this case you will have to fill up form No.13 in the new office of the central govt. & hand it over to the concerned authority preferably in account section or to the manager HR.They will arrange to get your pf fund transferred in the office of the central govt. The EPF office also comes under the central govt.

So you will have no problem in this regard.

    Thanks & good luck.

    Ashok
