One of the company where I applied for job have asked me to send the resume through E-Mail. So will it be OK to just copy/paste the resume in the body of the E-Mail? or I need to write some message too? Can you please tell me the proper way to send the resume through E-Mail? Waiting for your valuable suggestions.

    Hey..
First of all I wish that you land up with a job soon. There is a proper format that you need to follow while sending your resume through email. Once you have prepared a word document of your resume, your are advised to attach it as attachments with your email. You are also advised to convert the word document into pdf format and attach it with the email. This is done because pdf format is more professional and creates a positive impression on the employer.
The most important thing that you need to do is prepare a cover letter for your resume that is to be pasted in the body of the email. the following points shold be comnsidered:
    1. Mention the reference date on which the company asked you to send a resume through mail.
    2. Address the mail to the concerned person in the company who asked you to send the resume through mail.
    3. In a sentence mention that you have attached both word and pdf copies of your resume.
    4. Make sure that the cover letter is strictly formal.
    5. End the letter with 'Thanking you in anticipation' and in the next line write, "Yours sincerely (with your full name)"

    All the best. Thank you.

Re: Proper way to send the resume through E-Mail?

Now a days e-mail is the most popular way to ask for a job or apply for a job. You e-mail is the first impression on you. So you have to right the same in good manner. Copy and pasting of your resume in the body of the e-mail is not at all a good practice. It will only create an bad impression on you.

Best way to send a resume through the e-mail is that you have to attach your resume in your e-mail. You should always write subject line clearly. By reading the heading the receiver should know or they has to understand what you have written in the body of the e-mail. In the resume file you have to mention your name and post for which you are applying.

Before drafting a resume, make sure that it is fulfilled with all the required things.

Save it in MS-Office 2003 format.

This format will be opened anywhere if there is MS-Office which is of any version.

Attach it in the attachments in the email.

Spell correctly the email address in the To Box.

Give subject with your name and highest qualification or work experience.

    Hello,

First write a short introduction about yourself and the position you are applying
to the company. Then attach your "Resume" along with a statement of purpose
and cover letter. Your resume should not be too long , but rather a compact one.
In the email subject bar write the position you are applying, in the address bar
write the desired email address. The last thing is to send the email.

    Bye,

When you send the resume to any company you need to send the resume in an attachment.
The resume should be in word document and attached with the email.
In the Body of the email you can write to the designated person to whom you are sending that resume trhat you are applying against the position advertised by that company.
you also need to mention a brief synopsis of your skills and experience in that email
in the end of the email put thanks and your name and contact number
