    Promotion policies based on performance or years of service?

    Every year, promotions take place on the basis of critical incident method of performance. The management team identifies employees who had performed well. I am confused about these so called policies whether they are based on performance or years of service. Please suggest what needs to be done.

    Yes definitely promotion is based to employee overall performance.
    Promotion is strictly follow the rules follow them your management.

    1. Overall performance.
    2. Good attitude.
    3.Interact with new peoples is must.
    4. No remarks .
    5. Good relationships to your management.
    6. hard work.
    7. Easily solve the problems.

    So this things show the performance of employee and selected
    I think you can improve this thing .
    Definitely you can get a promotion.
