Private College paying the teachers very less and asking them to work for extra hours

I am working as the Principal of a private engineering college. The administrative staff is charging the students an exorbitant amount but not paying the teachers well. On the top of that they are even asking them to work for extra hours. I feel miserable for the teachers. Please suggest what can be the best possible way to raise my voice against this injustice.

    Dear Aspirant,

Your thinking is very good. The teachers of the college are the back bone without which the existence of the college is not possible. If teachers are good & happy with the management of the college, they would take more & more interest in teaching which will result in creating good craze among the people. The reverse result is in reverse case.

Being employee in a pvt.college,it is very difficult to meet the demand from the management. However, you should try well in proper way.In order to discuss the matter, you should convene a meeting of the teachers. discuss the matter & get their consent to rise the matter before the management. If they are agree, get a joint representation signed by all the teachers & place the matter before the chairman of the college properly. But be careful. It should not be disclosed that you have taken the initiation for it & in case it is pointed out & some action is taken against you,all others members should oppose it by means of hunger strike.

Hope you will get in your mission.

    Thanks & good luck.

    Hello,

This is vry unfortunate that the teachers are not getting their due payment. You should talk to the administartve as well as the Managing committe
and request them to kindly look into the matter seriously. If the teachers are not well paid then they will be leaving the college sooner or later. Their
morale is low and to uplift thier morale a salary hike would be perfect. You should talk to the teachers as well and try to find out their problem. You should
not waster any more time or else you will loose your teachers. Working over time is good but there must be some sort of incentive otherwise no one will be
    ready to work.

    Bye,

    Hello,
    1) As you are working as the Principal of a private engineering college. The administrative staff is charging the students an exorbitant amount but not paying the teachers well. On the top of that they are even asking them to work for extra hours.
    2) This is a bad condition of a college.
    3) You try in government college. Their you will get a handsome salary.
    4) You can also speak to your chairman for good salary and for your staff also.
    Thank you...

know what you have to do is that file a written application and send it to your management staff and told to all of them that you have to increase the salary of all the teaching staff otherwise may be they all are taking an action against you and your college because their demand is to increase their salary so that they can work properly.
thanking you hopes you like my suggestion

    Hello everyone

I am of the opinion that the teachers should first convince the administration to increase their salary as their needs are not being fulfilled by the amounts that they get and in return they will provide quality education to the students.
Teachers will have to make them understand that long hour teachings will not improve the students but the students can well understand the subjects by practical approach.
The teachers may also approach the authority that they will bring the institute to the top position provided they should be given bonus salary for this.
Their should also be the provision of extra payment for the teachers who are less absent and the students undertaken by them are disciplined and progress in studies.
This will serve as dual purpose i.e, it will improve the quality of education and also the problem of teachers is solved.
Also it will bring the institute to reputed position.
I think the kind approach to the authority is the best outcome of the problem.Violence approach can make the problem more cumbersome.
Only the authority and teachers should solve the problems themselves. No external body should be involved because reputation of institute will be hampered.
Peaceful and non-violent approach is the best.
    Thank you .

As the principle of the college you have the right to ask administration staff towards the discrimination of the staff member. Now a educational institutes are thinking that the education as the business and they are playing with the lifes of the teachers and students. they are paying less wages for the teachers and making them work for lot of times. In order to erodicate this discrimination towards the teachers all the teachers should form a group and should talk to the administration staff that they will work only for the limited hours for the amount that the administration staff have been paying them.If all say the same thing then the administration staff cannot do any thing other than increasing wages for the extra hours or you talk with all the teachers and as a reprensentative of the teachers you talk with the administration staff and get their pay increased for their work.

    all the best sir,
    thank you

This is nice that being the principal of the institution you understand the plight of the teachers when they are paid less and asked to work for more!!!

Well now if you yourself agree that the teachers must be paid good as in comparison what they are receiving right now then you should move talks with the higher authorities . Talk to the dean and other responsible people that assign the responsibility of distributing and deciding the pay of the teachers.

Try explain them the wages each teacher deserve and if they wont be paid good then they may turn to some other institution that would offer them better and as those teachers are really good so by any chance it wont be worth loosing them. This will also shatter the reputation of the college as well. So you being the principal is concerned about the college from every aspect and hence request them to increase the pay.

    Thank you

These area unit everyplace not solely in a very non-public faculty however conjointly in each non-public organisation like software system firms and alternative company sectors.
If you wish to extend the regular payment then you would like to travel to the labour court or RTI for the knowledge relating to the regular payment, if by that you simply can notice that what ought to be the regular payment of the worker in ANy non-public organisation in step with the designation and qualification then you'll match the knowledge together with your regular payment package if it's low in step with the govenment then you'll visit the court to file an case against the organisation that they're providing less regular payment in step with the labour law and take the action consequently.
Then the hour of the corporate must offer the solution for constant that why there's terribly less regular payment in step with the indian government if he explains that its attributable to the force of owner then owner must pay all the workers full regular payment until the date they're operating with the corporate if he refuse to try and do that then court can take action against him which can result in distruction of their carreer.
so invariably do the work in step with the law as a result of if you're breaking the law then law wil break you.
