Is it possible to keep the provident fund account opened even after retirement?

I am going to retire from my Career in a year time and now I want to know if it will be possible for me to keep the provident fund account opened even after the retirement? Will there be any problem? Is it like we need to withdraw and close the Provident fund account once we retire or so? Please provide me the details.

Hey friend you don't need to close your provident fund account. You can still continue your if you are leaving your job and if you also get a new job you can still your provident account. It does not depend upon your companies. So don't worry about that you already have an SSN account number you can reuse it.Thank you

YES, you have to close your PF account after you retire.
Once you retire no money would be credited to that account each month.
I would suggest that withdraw all the money.
If you do not want to use that money right now, keep that money in the BANK in FD.
It will be safe and also liquidity is very high
