Is it possible to get promoted to a higher rank in the same company after distance or correspondence MBA?

I am working in an MNC.There are vacancies produced every year in positions that needs the qualification of MBA degree. Can I opt for those positions if I get a degree of MBA through correspondence or distance learning? Is it possible to opt for higher job rank in the same company in which I am working?

    Dear Friend!

All the companies choose one candidate for that post from their employees first if he/she has ability along with qualifications. If they don't find an employee for then hire the candidates for the post. So its totally depends on the you "how is your relation with colleagues or company's employees, what is your importance and apart from that tell them about your qualification "I am done MBA now and want to apply for that post" Company will consider for you to post. If you are illegible for the post , company definitely will call you.

No,distance education is not better than full time mba degree because most companies prefer full time mba course distance education for employees above 6-8 years of experience is good but when your having less than that then its not too much preferred.. I am not telling that distant mba is waste but full time mba degree has an edge over it.. Company policy also matters in promotions..

    yes,,obviously it is possible.
but sometime it depends upon the term and condition of the company like the company gves value to distance education or not.
so,better first to find out whether a candidate qualified MBA from distance education is eligible or not for that post.
if eligible, then apply you may be promoted

    hi
generally, a masters degree do help in getting a better future in one’s company. But there are different norms of the different companies. Some companies allow you to go through the masters program on a distance education basis, but some of the companies wont allow you to get your degree on the correspondence basis, but yu have to go through that course as a regular candidate. They do provide a study leave of two years for that, conditionally that you need to return to the same company after the completion of the course.

Definitely you may do the same because distance MBA has also enough good reputation in case of getting higher position jobs but your university should be recognized and your knowledge should be good over the specialization subject of MBA then only you will be able to get the job and when you are already experienced person and well known in that company, so you should take the advantage but before applying for admission in any institute, you should ask from your senior employees who have been posted for that higher position after completing MBA because they are experienced and may give you proper and right information about the same and if they say that you need to complete MBA in regular mode then you should not worry because there are so many institutes in India those provides special class for those who are in job and you may complete your MBA through regular mode but if they say that distance MBA will also be accepted then you may go for it and choose a right university or institute

If you complete MBA then you may really considered for higher post because this is a professional degree that is demanded in every single sector that is why you should apply for admission in MBA and complete it for your bright future because if you get the job of higher position then promotion chances will be more for you in future on higher rank so keep continue your preparation for recruitment conducted by your company and get good career

    All the best
