    Is that possible that the employees can issue show cause notice to manager collectively because of his misconduct?

    I am working as an HR in this regional BPO Company. These are team of 10 people in our team. 5 months before this new manager joined to our team. His behavior towards employees is very rude. I have got complaint and also the employees are asking me to issue show cause notice against him. Is it possible to do that? And if yes, what is the procedure?

    Dear Aspirant,

    The management principle does not say to issue the show cause notice to the manager by the employees.

    The sufferer employees can report the matter to the official who is surerior to the manager to take action either by transfer or by any action.

    This should be done jointly.

    Hi,


    Everyone in the organisation is expected to follow company ethics irrespective of the designation

    So if the manager is being rude to the employees it affects the work of the employee which inturn affects the company productivity

    Similarly employees are expected to do their works properly and sincerely

    Failure to do so affects the employee salary which inturn affects career growth

    The manager can be suggested to change his behaviour and attitude towards other employees

    Misusing the power is of big mistake

    If he doesnt change his attitude , then he can be terminated for professionalism ethics violation

    Hi aspirant

    I think being an HR instead of issuing a show cause notice, firstly you must try to talk to the new manager yourself and tell him that you are getting many complaints regarding his behaviour from the employees. He should try to treat the employees in a proper manner and try to listen to their problems patiently rather than misbehaving with them. The employees are really very annoyed with him and he should try and make up with them as both of them should work in unison so that the team spirit remains and the best results could be achieved. Give him a proper talk and i am sure he will listen to you and try to mend his ways.

    If he still doesnt mend himself then warn him that he may lose his job due to his misbehaviour and disrespect towards the employees. I am sure then he will improve due to the fear of losing his job..I hope you understand.

    Dear friend if the issue "misconduct" is not settle normally then obviously you can fight all against unlawful misconduct as we all are educated we have the respect.Being a boss you can not do injustice toward all illegally.so naturally you can issue show cause/reason of such misconduct to all of staff, you can send copy to all heads like H/R chief manager etc.If he/she is unable to inform you the valid reason to focus then unitedly you can go up to the court for justice/legal action.

    hello friends..

    1)it is not possible to issue the show cause notice to manager

    2)being a boss you cannot do injustice toward all illegally

    3)wee can fight all against misconduct as we all are educated we have the respect

    4)first of all remove he/she from the job
