    Positive way of dealing unfair job appraisal?

    Have anyone faced this type of issue? where you knew that you should be give more in the appraisal but it just comes out as low as expected. Can you please tell me how to handle those type of issues in a positive way? Is it good to go out from the job when that happens? Or be true still and work hard?

    Dear Aspirant,

    As we know that the job appraisal is a culmination of performance review process that begins when an employee assumes a job & ends at the conclusion of the review cycle i.e annual job appraisal.

    In the situation cited above,you are advised to continue your job with full enthusiasm,you will be paid for that after some time.At the same time you must first see your self what mistake was done for negative appraisal.If you are sure of your confidence in the past works,you may represent or enquire of the reason of negative job appraisal with the manager under whom you are working.

    It is not wise to leave the job.Meanwhile if you are confirm that the management is doing any injustice to you,you can see for another job.

    Hi..

    Appraisal is a part of every job that you do so you should not be disheartened incase of negative appraisal. First of all you shoulf sit back and reflect as to what went wrong. You should find out your own shortcomings that led to negative appraisal. You should make note of all these and try to overcome them with each working day at your work place.

    Appraisal is also a source for you to get acquainted with the expectations of the company from you. So you should be taking it in positive stride and working towards improving your work ethics with every new day at your work place.


    Incase you feel that the points mentioned in your appraisal are unfair to the quality of work that you have been delivering thne you can contest the same by having a talk with the concerned authorities. This is a part and parcel of every job. Hence you should not think about switching jobs. It is a better suggestion to improvise yourself and deliver to the comapny to the best of your capacity!

    Hi aspirant , you should try to give another chance to such situations and try your best again. Sometimes it happens that what we think doesnt occur and what we least expected happens. So you should deal with such type of situations in a positive way and not be disheartened so much so as to leave your job.Just be positive and keep working hard as you did before. Try to find the reason why you got low appraisal and try to overcome your shortcomings. Dont hesitate to mend yourself.

    Thus such situations certainly require a positive attitude and you should be prepared for them anytime in life.
    Dont shy from doing hard work again and thus i am sure your patience and hard work will certainly be rewarded. If next time also you dont get the desired result then go and talk to your manager regarding the same and tell him that you expected much more and ask him the reason for such type of results which are much below your expectations. I am sure he will help you out.
