    Personal parcels being sent by office couriers

    I am an employer of private firm where I pay a good amount to the courier services in my office. But my staffs take undue advantage of my politeness. They send their personal parcels through my office’s official courier.

    This is very unprofessional behavior from your employees.

    You should take strict actions to control such acts as it is costing you and your company very much.

    First of all you should instruct the person in charge of the courier that he will have to make a register containing the details of each and every courier that is

    being send including the name of the person who has given him the courier.

    By this you will have all the data related to the expenses occurred on courier with the name of the employee.

    Give your staff strict instructions that they are not allowed to do such practices.

    And impose penalties accordingly if they don't obey.

    Tell them that they will have to bear huge consequences and even they can be terminated if they don't follow the discipline.

    Keep an eye on the register to find that such things are not repeated.

    Alternatively you can design a process through which a courier is allowed to send like you can develop a format which has to be signed/attested by you by the

    employees for sending the courier and thus an employee has to show that signed format to the person in charge of courier for the courier to be sent.

    By this you can have a control on the courier service.
