    @@ HI @@

@ You can take admission with this percentage in most of the institutes @

@ Make sure that the institute you wish to join having seat or not @

@ If so apply for it and follow the admission steps @

@ If you want to go via counselling then you need to wait and at the same time you wont get reputed institute for this percentage @

Direct admission into second year is possible when you complete any diploma or polytechnic. It is called lateral entry. You have to write some entrance for getting admission in engineering or pharmacy whatever field you belong to.If what you heard is correct you can join with your percent.Few colleges, ask for donation if your percent is less.

Direct admission is done for diploma students. Every university and college has its own criteria for shortlisting students. In pune university you must get atleast 60% to be eligible for admission in the university college. In mumbai university the percentage required is 65% and the percentage varies with branch. You must have good percentage or marks to be eligible for merit list. Since the final admission is done through merit list.

Generally the minimum required percentage is 60%. for general categories.

If you are open category then it is very difficult to get direct admission with 57% .

You should have at least 60 % oa marks.

For Sc/ St and OBC candidates the required percentage is 55%.

So to get admission you have to pay donation.

Donation fee will be depends on college. Some colleges will ask more fee than actual fee.

    hello,
1)Every institute have their own criteria of selecting the candidates you just keep trying to collect the information about.
2)If you are from categories SC/ST/OBC then it is not difficult to get college otherwise wait for the counsel to come near end then you try for any college.
3)One more procedure is by management. You will get good college by donation.

Re: Percentage requirement for direct admission in second year?

    Hi friend,
It only happens when you clear diploma with min. 60 %.
There are so many university or collage which have min. 50 % required for admission in 2nd year but they conduct own test which is clear before taking the admission.
If you are clear that test then you are eligible for taking admission in 2nd year.

Another condition is that if you are belong to ST/SC cast then you are taking direct admission in any colleges or universities.

Re: Percentage requirement for direct admission in second year?

    Dear friend,

Your question does not make it clear that in which course you are having 57% marks.

I don't think there is a provision to get direct admission in simple graduation courses on the basis of marks in 10+2 course.

If you are diploma in engineering, you are eligible to get admission in second year of B.Tech. course provided you have 60%marks and full fill the conditions for admission.

    It is called Lateral entry.

So confirm the news where from you have have heard about your concerned and proceed accordingly.

    Thanks.

Re: Percentage requirement for direct admission in second year?

    HI,

2nd yr admission is possible only for diploma people.

These are called lateral entries in universities and institutes.

There is a selection process where people give entrance exam for these seats.

For Sc/ St and OBC candidates the required percentage is 55%.

For general students, it should be above 60%.

According to the rank, selection is done.

    HOPE THIS IS HELPFUL!!!!!
    GOOD LUCK!!

Dear friend for OC CASTE you should have more than eighty percent. .for BC CASTE you should have 60 to 70 percent.and for SC and ST CASTE you should have atleast 50 percent..based on your mark you will be called for counselling. . If your mark is low you can get seat through management quota. . .which is cost effective. .

Re: Percentage requirement for direct admission in second year?

Direct admission is completed for certificate students. each university and school has its own criteria for short listing students. In pune university you want to get atleast hour to be eligible for admission within the university school. In Mumbai university proportion the share needed is sixty fifth and therefore the percentage varies with branch. you want to have sensible share or marks to be eligible for benefit list. Since the ultimate admission is completed through benefit list.

Your question doesn't create it clear that during which course you're having fifty seven marks.
i do not suppose there's a provision to induce direct admission in straightforward graduation courses on the premise of marks in 10+2 course.
If you're certificate in engineering, you are eligible to induce admission in second year of B.Tech. course provided you've got 60%marks and full fill the conditions for admission.
it's referred to as Lateral entry.
thus ensure the news wherever from you've got have detected concerning your involved and proceed consequently.
2nd period of time admission is feasible just for certificate folks.
These square measure referred to as lateral entries in universities and institutes.
there's a range method wherever folks offer entrance examination for these seats.
For Sc/ St and OBC candidates the specified share is fifty fifth.
For general students, it ought to be on top of hour.
in keeping with the rank, choice is completed.

Re: Percentage requirement for direct admission in second year?

    dear friend !!!,,,
actually you have not mentioned in which course you have got 57% and also not mentioned that in which degree course you want to get admitted.
one thing i want to mention that if you are talking about degree then there is no any provision to get direct admission in 2nd year.
there is only one degree programme that is engineering in which you can get admission in 2nd year if you have completed the diploma.
so,first clarify your doubt and mention the necessary details so that we can help you.
    thank you !!!

Re: Percentage requirement for direct admission in second year?

    Hello friend

For general categories the minimum required percentage is 60%.

So it is a bad news for you if you belong to the open category as it is very difficult to get the admission with 57% marks.

You should have at least 60% oa marks.

For the other backward categories also the minimum percentage marks is 55%.

So the last option left with you is that you would have to pay donation to the colleges for the admission .

    All the best

    Thank you.

    Hi Friend,

    >>>Rule are differ from college to college

    >>>Some colleges take donation then only they will give admission

    >>>Some colleges give admission on the basis of percentage

    >>>But generally you need to score minimum 60% if you belongs to general category

    >>>For special categories you need to score atleast 55%

    >>>So apply registration to any college which you like

    >>>If they decline your registration then you have to give donation

Re: Percentage requirement for direct admission in second year?

    Dear Friend

Do not worry ,you can get admission in different colleges based on your % of marks that is 57% .

Let me tell you that different colleges have different eligibility criteria .However most of them as 50% as the basic requirement. But the top colleges demand over 75% in order to take the candidates .

So you try to get admission in that colleges whose percentage requirement is less than 60.

Hope the information helps you as much as you expect .For any other assistance please do not forget to leave a message here .We will get back to you as soon as possible.

Enjoy your life and all the best for your career.

Re: Percentage requirement for direct admission in second year?

    Hello,
If you planning to to get admission direct into second year means fee would be more when compare to general process (first to second year).right

    it also depends on

a)for which course you have taken

b)from which college you want to complete the course right

c)percentage =you try to score at least of 55%.though it had not mentioned but ti does not mean you can get the seat..you have to get good marks..

d)fee also depends upon duration of course.

    understood...

    good luck

    thank you
