Our workplace is very messy and no one is assuming the responsibility of keeping everything organised

I am working in a government organisation. Our workplace is very messy and I don’t like working in such an atmosphere. None of the staff members is ready to assume the responsibility of keeping everything neat and organised. What should be done to set this right?

Oh such an environment is not at all pleasing and doesn't drags the interest as well.

Take the initiative and atleast you try to manage a few areas that can be done by you and once other people will observe that how one of their colleague is trying keeping things manageable and now they look too perfect, trust me majority will get inspire and they themselves will try at least manage their portion and thats how all place will be settled.
    thank you
