    Our team leader does not believe in working hard and as a result our project is suffering

    I am working in a software company. We are a group of 10 members working on a particular project. Our team leader is not at all a hard worker and due to his relaxed attitude our project is suffering a lot and we are behind other teams. What should be done in such a situation?

    Dear friend, as you are working in a software company and you are the group of 10 members and your teamleader are not sincere about his work. Dear,In this you have to coordinate with each other and asking your teamleader to make a coordination with us if he is not making coordination then go to the manager and tell him all of this and asking him to change the teamleader.     The team leader should have proper skills and also leadership qualities so that he could lead/encourage the project members working under in a right way to finish the target in right time.First of all you all sit and have a group discussion with your leader about your project and ascertain the problems being faced by your leader. Coordinate him and cooperate with him, if needed suggest him some good ideas with very pleasant way and also bring to his notice that you are getting back with your project work.Take good measures to fulfill the goal of your project.After all your efforts gone back, then you all better meet the higher officer concerned and explain him in detail the difficulties being faced with the present leader and request him to change the leader to speed up the project and can be completed before intime.     If your team leader is not having any interest in the project then you need to transfer this information to the boss of the company either by mail or by letter.
    Because if you do this personally then it will be not good for you, as he is your senior and if he knows that you have complained against him then his behaviour for you will be completely changed and he will try to abuse you in every moment of time.
    So just like an hidden employee do these thing.
    After getting the mail your boss will check whether the mail was correct or just a spam.
    If he notice that the team leader is the culprit then he will call him in the office and give him the treatment for that, and also explain him the way of working in the company, he will also give the punishment for that and after getting the dose from the boss he will never try to get away from the work and also not try to throw the burden on you.
    If you think that he is just like that you don care whatever happen to the project then leave him and concentrate on your work.

    Hello friend
    Itís a very serious problem because if canít complete the project on right time then may your boss should be take a step against you may be he/she can fired you . Now what you have to do is that write a application to the head or the senior authority and write in the application to him/her that your project in charge will not be work properly due to that reason our project will not finish on time. So I request to you sir that please take a necessary on this situation problem..

    Hello,

    You are working in a software company where you have to finish project on tight schedule. In
    Project team co-ordination and communication are the key to project completion. There are
    10 professional in your team so you have to convince that fellow the necessity of team work.
    Otherwise the whole project will suffer and all of you will face punishment.

    hello friend,
    As per my views your hard work never gets wasted.
    So i would suggest you to cope up with your team members and try to do your best. Take your team member along with.
    If he is culprit then don't worry, after this project you would get a new team leader. Keep this thing in mind that by seeing others you should not degrade your performance.
    As you would work hard, your team members will also join you and will work hard. Try to do work in such a way that you wont require any team leader. Team leader is their to manage every thing. But in your case you have to manage everything on your own. This might result you with positive results in future.
    Be optimistic and try to motivate others. Try to persuade your team leader to get active and take some good decision.
    Your effort will not go wasted, soon you will get results for your hard work.

    In order to bring him on the right track, it is essential that all of you should speak to him frankly so that he can understand his shortcomings. NO body is perfect, but hard work can lead a man towards success. It has to be pointed out to him that all other teams are ahead of his team, and it is due to his laziness, work of his team is not progressing in the desired manner. You all can install some energy into him by exchanging some inspirational words and see if he improves in any way. If it fails, then anyone from your team has to be elected who will be the next team leader in order to carry on with the projects in a proper way.
