    Our manager is not ready to listen to us regarding the misbehaviour of a senior employee, who is related to him

    I am working in a software company. From the past few days one of the senior employees is misbehaving with me and a few other employees. We have complained the manager many times but he is not ready to listen to us as that employee is related to him. What should be done in such a situation?

    Hi friend,

    I think this is bad situation
    You can complain to the your boss
    You can explain every thing like( misbehaving of a senior employee ) tell to your boss
    You can also complain your HR
    You can leave this job and choose another job
    Because your management not responding.
    So be careful

    Since you have already escalated this issue with your Manager and no action has been taken you can approach the HR team
    There are employee relations manager.
    They are part of the HR team
    You should tell them the whole issue
    They would look into this issue and resolve it
    No one has the authority to misbehave with anyone in any organization

    Dear Aspirant,

    It is very common to get such complain.When the senior employee is related too your manager,it is difficult for the manager to take action against the concerned employee on ground of misbehaviour.In this case you should have a meeting of all the employees & discuss the issue.See the response.If others are ready to support you,it is alright otherwise you along with the other victim,make a joint representation & hand it over to the manager HR & request to take action against the concerned employee & the manager.The matter may be enquired & action may be taken.The concerned employee may be transferred to any other section.

    If no action is taken,you will have to go to the police station to report the matter,but before that you should give information & get permission to report the matter to the police station.

    Hi,

    Your boss is very unfair in this matter.
    The senior employees have no right to misbehave with you and other.

    If your boss is not listening to you then you all can make a group and take action against the senior employee.
    You must start ignoring him.
    Every one of you and do not talk to him at all.
    If he tries to misbehave , all of you gather and give a strange stare to him.
    You all must gather and tell him that if he misbehaves again, the result will be bad.
    It will surely help you.
    Be confident and strict towards such people especially when you have supporters

    Unity can make you come out of the situation.

    You can also complain to your higher authorities or head manager of the company.

    If he is a relative of that manager then you should not go to him for the compalin because he will never take action against him so you must go to the general manager of the company and not only complain against that employee who misbehaved with you but also complain about the manager that you have compained about him so many times but never taken the action because that person is his relative if you do this then they both will be screwed from their job. So you must go to the higher authorities for the same because there is nothing like theis happen in any of the organisation and also these all things are not acceptable. This is just like a politics. Put the relatives on the job and not say anything for their mistakes this will make them fearless of doing bad things.

    hello,
    as you said he is a manager you give a complaint regarding it to your higher officials other than your manager.
    secondly if you are so much irritated then its better to leave the job and find a new one.as you are having some experience then it is enough for you to join in other company rather than being in between this bloody people.
    just ask your manager about your resignation then you can be free from such hell.

    Hello Aspirant,

    It is quite impossible to take action by the manager against a senior employee when he is his relative.In such case,you have left only one option to report the matter to the employer of the company. Also you should explain the matter orally & you can give notice jointly to go on strike in case no action is taken against the related employee.

    You should not keep mum because you all are employees & can work any where with respects.So why should you tolerate such ill behaviour unnecessarily without committing any mistake.

    Hope there will be an enquiry & then action against the culprits.
