One of our team members is not cooperative at all

I am working in a software company. We are a team of 10 members working on a particular project. One of our teammates is not co-operative at all and it is due to him that we are lagging behind the other teams. I have complained against him many times to our team leader but without any effect. How to resolve this matter?

    Hi friends,

I think you can ask to this member "why you can not cooperative with me "
Then you can collect the information and you can rectifies
You can complain to the your HR also
You can join the new member in your team also

So don't worry you can focus to your project.

    Thanks!!!
    good luck...........

Cooperation is the key factor for success in professional sector.Nowadays, the level of competition has increased and the demand has also increased as well.As a result the strategy followed by most of the organizations at this level is to form small teams and given them separate projects to handle. As a consequence, the work will be accomplished faster and with perfection rather than one bunch of employees handling various projects and getting messed up.

There can be various reasons for the non-cooperation of the coworker of yours. It can be that he is a bit submissive type.He can be a bit of introvert in nature and feels shy in interacting. As a result, the cooperation which is expected from him is also less.It can also be the other negative aspect of him too.He might want to achieve height of success alone and does not want others to surpass him in the team.

However, the problem should be solved to ensure proper and smooth functioning of the team. You should try to solve this first from your personal level.Try to interact with him.Get to know what are the problems he is facing.Get to know the reasons of his non-cooperation.Try to solve them or suggest some solutions to it.Express the problems that you all are facing because of his non-cooperativeness.Request him to cooperate.

If still he does not cooperate,go to the team leader along with few more members of the team and express your problems.Make sure to make him realize the importance of this matter and request him to look into this matter and solve it for the smooth functioning of the team.If he also ignores your pleas, then you all may approach the higher authority above him and catch their eye in this matter and request them to interfere in it.

    hello,
directly ask him what is the problem behind it and give him some tips regarding it and how to overcome the situation and guide him how to handle such situation in a smooth way.
if he dint listen then directly ask your manager to change your colleague and he may shuffle your team.
    thank you..........
