    One of my colleagues, who has deep connections with some powerful people, is always bullying other employees

    I am working in a private firm. One of my colleagues has very good connections with some powerful people. So he always uses this to his advantage and keeps on bullying other employees. This is not good at all as he is crossing all his limits. How to teach a lesson to such a person?

    Sir , its quite obvious that any injustice is intolerable but at the same time getting mess with some powerful people who love to be called themselves as dabangg is of no use.

    If you even have some back then take an initiative and face him but if you dont then better ignore him as this will impose a peace at your workplace.

    Sir although this is wrong but at time a person has to compromise at various levels.

    Still i will advice you to search for another job simultaneously as its of great threatening surviving at such place in such pathetic environment.

    It is highly possible to do such behaviour by the person who is very proudy due to having connections with the powerful persons.But such persons should think that provision of the constitution applies to all citizen of the people & thus all citizen has self respects.If you want to teach him a good lesson,then you are required too join together.Write a common complaint letter duly signed by all of you & submit to the higher officials such as your boss,manager HR,Managing Director or CEO to enquire & take action against him.As soon as he knews the matter,he may come down & apologize you all & if he goes out of control,lodge an FIR against him in nearby police station.Be united & all of you also should use your own approach,because in democratic country,every person may have some political approach.

    hello dear sir-As you,me or everyone knows that major politics, major relationship, major wealth takes a form of some irritational behavior,abusing etc.You know that anybody can't do anything against him.You should attempt your work regularly at time.Never disclose the internal minds with anyone because these all things may be destroyed.If you think that conversation can rocks then apply it immediately and search for lifethanks

    In this case i would suggest that all those people who are being bullied by him should meet first and than decide to approach the Manager of your Company or to whom you report
    You should all tell the manager about his behaviour towrds you people
    Ask him to take corrective action
    Also if you want you can involve the HR Team
    They will definitely take action against him

    Well, first of all you have to make a strategy to counter that person. You should talk to him and tell him that he has no right to insult other employees at office. His connection with powerful people does not give him the right to bully other employees as it is against violation of company policy. But I don't think he will listen to you so you should approach to the higher authorities and request them to take some action against that person. If such activities continue to happen many of your colleagues will leave the company.

    It is not a good thing on his part and such people must definitely be taught a lesson.Bullying is a bad habit, as there is a saying that "every one has his father".
    Thus i think that you should not step ahead to teach him a lesson until you are bullied by him.

    Or you can cleverly frame him in a plan to show him that there is some place where his power ends as he is not the almighty.
    And you should not be worried because one day he will realise his mistakes.
