    One of the employees thinks that she is the best

    I am working in a government organisation. One of my colleagues thinks very highly of her abilities and literally thinks that she is the best. She always criticizes others whenever she gets a chance and also thinks others to be inferior to her. I don’t think this is the right attitude. How to explain this to her

    There are different kind of peoples which you will have to deal with when you are working in an organisation.

    This is also a part of job and you will have to handle such peoples whether you like or not.

    See in trying to explain her you will loose concentration on your work due to which your own work will be effected.

    Also as you said she thinks every one else inferior to her, so if you go to her and try to explain her she can take it in a negative sense, causing unnecessary

    problems for you.

    So it is better to leave her with her capabilities this will both be good for you and her, because there are always situations in which every ones capabilities are

    tested itself.

    Dear in this case I would like to suggest you that you should not try to tell her anything about her own attitude because it is in her habit and you will get no result if you will say to her about her attitude whatever she behaves in the office premises and if you wants to tell her then you should tell her with your abilities and skills because each one has good qualities and skills so that you should use your skills to teach her and first of all you should make a good image in front of the manager of your branch because this thing is most necessary and to make your manager happy, you need to perform good in your work and work hard for the company and complete all works on or before time then you will see that your manager will give you opportunity to make your career better in the company but do not tell her directly and when you will get increment in your job then she will understand herself that what she is at the present time

    Its better to ignore such people at your work. Let her think whatever she feels like. Arguing with them to making them realize their mistake is a sheer waste of time. you can use this time in some quality work. Her criticism hardly matters as she herself is not a expert or something . Time will tell her own mistake. you shouldn't bother about this instead focus more on your performance. You should ignore the drama as this is the professional world only the best can survive here.

    When your employee thinks so great of her abilities then you should stop her when she tries to criticize others you should try to tell her that she is not the only worthy person working there are others as well who are working in the same post with similar abilities.. some people think that they are the best but they are really ignorant of the fact that they are nothing in global competition and also great people update themselves and also they develop each and every day... head strong people are liable to ignored they should never be given any importance

    There are some people who think that they are the best.Confidence about onesself is good,but over confidence is simply irritating.You will find that generally it is very hard to communinate with these sort of people because of their snobbish attitude.And it is not only irritating but also untolerable.I think your effort will go in vein if you try to make her understand that her behaviour is not appropriate.So I think the best policy is to ignore her.Dont give any importance to what ever she says.Your ignorce attitude will force her to shut her mouth and stop her non sense.

    Plan an attempt of combined mission in which you and other colleagues prepare set of hard questions that may be from any section of any type,then discuss this questions between you and your colleagues in front of this person.

    She would find it difficult to cope up with that.

    Then she would find that there are people with different abilities and any body can excel.

    First thing I want to ask you that why you want to make her understand this things , I'm not saying that this is wrong but yes I want to assure that she will be your good friend also otherwise you will not want to make her understand and if it is so then you can directly tell him about this point , and if she is your good friend then she will surely understand your point and if she is not one of your good friends then also you can tell her humbly and she may take this in a wrong way , be careful.
