One of the employees shows no respect to the manager

I am working in a software company. There is one employee who shows no respect to the manager as he is related to one of the high officials. Due to this even the manager does not say anything to him. I really very bad for the manager. How to teach a lesson to such a person?

    Hello,

You should write a letter to the manager and request him to take harsh punishment
for that fellow. Breaking rules and no respect for superior officer is a crime in any
organization. Alternatively you can also write to the higher authorities regarding the
issue or just ignore such incident as it does not affect your work.

    Bye,

everyone will learn lessons only with themselves, you should never teach any lessons its better you concentrate well on your career and move on in your life.. when a person at manager level is not taking any action against that employee so how could you teach him.. i think that employee lacks morals you should always respect your higher ups ,he he doesn't then you can't take classes .. even the fact that he is associated with higher official then its obvious he will have some ego.. not all people have but usually most... all the best for your future

    Hi aspirant

Your colleague, who is behaving badly with your manager, has no morals at all and this shows his bringing up. He should definitely not behave with your manager or with any other senior in such a manner and should not try to take undue advantage of his family position. You should definitely have a talk with him and teach him how to respect his elders and seniors.

Tell that colleague that you have been noticing for a long time that he never behaves properly with the manager and always disrespects him. He should stop indulging in such behaviour and stop taking undue advantage of his family's position. He should respect his elders and should learn some moral values from his family members. Otherwise he will never succeed in his life and will always be dependent on his family.

I am sure that your colleague will definitely comply with your wishes and if not you can report to the higher authorities. Good luck

Dear you should not get involve in this issue because when that mannerless employee does not respect the manger and manager is also silent then what can you do for this means you are unable to teach anything to him because he is the relevant of any senior authority of your company and that is why your manager also does not say anything to him and if you will interrupt that person so it would not be good for your image in the company because he may complain against you to the higher authorities and this will effect your job that is why you should stay away from this situation and when manager knows that you respect for manager enough and more than all other colleagues then you do not need to say anything to the manager because manager also know that one employee does not respect him so you have to be good in the company and perform well and better than others so manager will think something good about you and for your future in the company

    All the best

It is good that you are concerned about your colleagues so much.

See as you said that even the manager himself doesn't want to take any action against him than you also should not bring yourself in between them.

As first of all this issue is not related to you and is between the manager and the employee so you don't have any right to speak into the matter.

Secondly this can raise problems between you and that employee and the same thing can happen with you and at that time you will get into unnecessary

    trouble.

If you like than you can talk to the manager about this in indirect way, if any thing is there in his mind he will automatically tell you.

So it would be much better if you don't get into the matter as this might cause you unnecessary problems.
