Officiating boss throws personal questions for salary advance

I requested for an advance from the accounts department. I got the form signed by the boss but now my boss is on leave. The accounts department has asked for the officiating bossís nod but he has refused. He has thrown a lot of questions too in application which are personal. I needed the money from urgent treatment which I do not wish to disclose.

Re: Officiating boss throws personal questions for salary advance

    Hi friend

I think your boss should not torment you in this manner and should certainly accept your request for getting your adavance salary. He should definitely not ask you personal questions in this manner and should definitely not behave with you in such a manner. He should understand your problem and should definitely do full justice with you. Also friend it is a very basic rule in any of the companies that you should always remain in the good books of your boss and should always maintain good relations with them.

I can understand your reason for not wanting to disclose the reason for you wanting your advance salary , but you shhould definitely talk to your boss regarding this. Telephone him and tell him the real reason if you really want your adavance salary. TEll him that you are in urgent need of your advance salary as you wanted it for some urgent treatment. You request him to please give his nod so that the accounts dept can carry out the process. You will be forever greatful to him.

I am sure that he will definitely give you the advance after hearing this. And you should always remember to maintain good relations with . I hope you understand my point. Good luck

Re: Officiating boss throws personal questions for salary advance

    HELLO SIR

It is a common thing to ask advance for any urgent use. And the accounts department of any company should have to give the money asked,(which should be limited according to the company rules and trust on you). The company has the right to ask the reason for having the salary in advance. But it don't have any right to ask the personal questions at all.
If it all your boss is asking the personal questions, then you say him that it is personal. But if he doesn't satisfy with it, then he must be going unfair and very personal towards you. If so, then you should also be doing unfair to him, i mean not regarding the work, but regarding the salary. You just say something, by which he should not have any chance except of giving the advance. This could be done if you are very well known about your boss. So first you ask to your seniors, about how to get rid of this situation. If any good suggestions then follow those. Else you just ask some weak points of the boss. So that you can tell some good reason and get the advance.

HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND THE SOLUTION...THANK YOU...!!

Your problems have find some suggestions. here they go.
    1. Talk and discuss with your Officiating boss for your reasons as they are personal and should not be disclosed.
    2. If still he refuses and want to know and your causes are not that personal then disclose them.
    3. If you can not find any solution by talking then if possible call you boss over phone and take suggestions.

    Dear Aspirant,

It is not good to listen. You may meet the officiating boss & request him to give his consent taking a request letter from.If your officiating boss agrees,he can give his consent to sanction your advance pay on your peresonal ground.Try to convince him any how.See his nature. Is he greedy? see his weakness & try to meet it.Also you can give other reason related to family members like father or mother or any one when you don't want to dislose the real reason.

If you are not succeeded, meet the manager HR & try to convince him for your personal grievances.

Hope there will be some solution.

    Thganks & good luck.

    Ashok..

    Hi............................,

You need to contact your previous boss.
Take his contact number and contact him only
You must state to new boss that due to treatment you need money.
Your old boss can even talk to new boss for this purpose.

    So ---->
    * Do not loose hope and fight.
    * You can contact the old boss soon.
    * Or wait for old boss to rejoin after leave.
    * Hope all the best for your future.

    Thanks

Dear Friend, its really sad that your boss is treating you like this when have a matter so urgent to be dealt with. you said that your boss has already signed your form. so I don't understand why the accounts department wants a nod. you can talk to them and ask them for clarifications as to why they wants your boss's nod when he has already signed your form. well if doesn't work then you will have to talk to your boss. tell him that the matter is really very urgent and you need the money for the serious treatment and also tell him that the matter is very personal and you cannot talk to him about it. if that doesn't work talk to your HR about it. again tell him/her about your medical condition without disclosing what id the exact problem. see what suggestions you get from the HR. if still you don't get any help and if you need the advance very urgently, then I think that you will have to tell your boss the exact problem even if you don't feel comfortable about it. I also suggest if you have any other medical benefits like the ESI scheme or any medical scheme, make use of it and avoid the uneasiness. ...good luck... hope you have a speedy recovery....

Dear if you wants an advance from your salary then you must have mentioned the actual cause that why you wants an advance from your salary and from your company but you did not mention the actual cause that why you want and that is why your accounting department and your company has asked you so many questions about this and that is why you are worried but you should not worry and forget everything whatever has been happened in the past and go back to your manager only and do not go to any other department and tell them everything accurate that why you wants an advance and how much and if you will make yourself factual in front of the boss then you will get no problem in getting advance ever in the job in that company but sometimes it matters that what is your working performance in the company means and if you have very good reputation in the company then you will not get the problem because company knows and trusts you as well but in this situation you must meet the manager and ask for an advance and i am sure that if you will tell the fact then they will not refuse you to give an advance

    All the best

    Hello,

Your boss's behaviour is not appropriate. He can ask you the reason behind such advance payment, but questions should also have a line of limit. If you are not comfortable in disclosing the entire story, then there is no need to do so.If he still insists then make up a good story and put it before him.Telling lie is not apprieciable, but sometimes it is necessary to take help of it in order to handle a situation.Keep it in mind that the story should be convincing so that there is no scope for any doubt. Also make sure that you repeat the same thing everytime he asks you.
