    Is the notice period same for all the employees in the company?

    I want to know if the notice period is same for all the employees in the company or different for different employees which in sense for Manager, senior employee and so on? Right now I am two years experienced so will the notice period will be for more months? Please give me the full details for me to understand this notice period concepts.

    Hi friend

    I think the notice period rules vary from company to company and it would be better if you check the policies and rules of your company regarding the same for better clarity..Most of the companies decide the notice period according to the posts and experience of the employee because it takes more time and effort to recruit new employees for higher posts and more experience and thus the notice period is more..

    Basically a company requires its employees to serve notice period before they resign in order to recruit new employees in their place which requires some time and thus the notice period is accordingly decided..But some companies have little or no variation in the notice period for all its employees..You can also ask your colleagues regarding the same..

    As you have two years experience i think the notice period will also depend on your post and your experience. If you have got any promotion in between then maybe it will be less..

    Dear Aspirant,

    The purpose of notice period is to settle the finanacial accounts of the out going employees.The employees have to get many financial accounts settled as EPF,Gratuity,Insurance & Leave encashments etc in case of resignation & termination.It has to be followed by both the employers & employees.

    The notice period is of 1 to 3 months.

    It may vary from company to company & on level of employment.But It will be the same for one particular rank to all the employees.

    Dear Friend!

    Every company have different terms & conditions with employees and company's senior staffs. But notice period is same for all the company's employees and staffs. Each company have notice period days from 7 to max. 30 days. Because I am working with software company and it has notice period for 7 days only. I would suggest you to contact with your company's HR or any concern person for correct and better information.

    That Is Depend On The Company Policy Because All The Companies Have The Different Different Policy For The Every Employee Of The Company,

    For Fresher : They Want The Work Bond As Well As Good Working.....

    And Other Employers : After The Experience And After The 2 Years Working Other Policy For The Employer And That Is Different Different Policy Of Each Company....

    Dear aspirant as per your question i would like to say for all the employees' in the company notice period is not the same it differ and active on the basis of status of the concern employee.

    Skilled permanent employees notice period of course must be 3(three months) because the company need's time to compensate the gap recruiting new skilled permanent employees'.

    The casual employees notice period is comparative follow lesser time as their importance to the company is not much important then skilled experienced permanent employee so i(one)month notice is preferable.

    The employee who are bonded their notice period undoubtedly has the importance before serving notice they are to think about the payment of compensation unless they compensate they do not get release letter again there is legal obligatory.

    The company notice period depends upon different company....

    Generally the notice period is 1-4 months,..

    the notice period is also depending upon the position of yours....

The notice period defers from company to the companies. The notice period is from 1 weeks to 3 months. The notice period is according to the rules and regulation of the companies. In some company the notice period will be same for all the employees. In some of the companies the notice period may be different for different employees. The notice period is decided by the employer and the employee at the time of joining. In the appointment letters or in the contract the days of notice period will be mentioned properly.

    As the notice period vary according to the designation they are in the company.
    Many companies have an avg notice period of 2-3months
    Sometimes it may also vary according to company.
    First once check the terms and conditions of your company and better to consult a legal advisor .
