No separate accommodations for staff in hotel industry

One of my co-employees has got an experience of 3 years in hotel industry as front office manager. She stated me that there were accommodations for the staff working there but no separate accommodations for boys and girls were there. Is this an acceptable thing?

    Hi aspirant

You cant do much to change the rules of the hotel or any other industry and thus you have to take it with a pinch of salt. But in todays times this is certainly acceptable. Today we have so many co-ed schools and colleges in which both the boys and girls study together and thus having common accomodation for the whole staff should not be a problem. Today times have changed and it is not like before. People have wide thinking today and thus are more liberal in these matters. You should not be afraid of your safety as you surely will be safe there . All the staff would be educated and thus there will be no danger to your safety at all.

Dont worry friend. Of course if you want you can talk to your manager when you join the job. Request him that you want a separate accomodation as you are uncomfortable with living in the same place which is common for both boys and girls. I hope he will understand you and thus try to help you if he can. So dont think too much about it and take necessary action.

I hope you get a good job and have a bright future ahead. Good luck and Thanks
