    Hello Friend,

Well, If you would like to shift to your own backyard then you should accept your colleague's proposal. You would get the opportunity to stay at home with your family and work in a familiar environment. There is no reason to be confused. If the higher authorites of your company agree with your proposal then you can always take such step. Sometimes it is much better to stay at home and work than to a far off place. The ball is on your court. If I were you I would have taken the decision. But each organization has certain rules and regulations for every employees and these are not meant to be broken so I am keepin my finger crossed.

    Bye,

    Hi,
I think that place is your hometown that why he is asking you, and according to me this is quite good chance for you that you can settle without any problem in your hometown with same salary package.
Also one important thing , if you found some trouble related to transfer then do not do, just say i am not interested sorry.
Also consider all factors like your home town and transfer etc and then decide.

One of my colleagues wants me to stop his transfer by giving my name for the same

I am working in a private firm. One of my colleagues is going to be transferred soon to a new place. Now as I belong to that place , he is asking me to give my name in his place , and thus stop his transfer. I am really confused as what to do in this case. Please guide me in the right direction.
