You can't do much in this matter as you are also one employee of the company and matter is not related to you. The thing you can do here is convenince your boss for not to take any action. You can ask your boss to find the other way apart from moving the matter to court to solve it. This way would be considered better solution to both parties as it be based on certain agreement. You can tell your collegaue to talk with the boss and ask him to forgive the mistake which he has committed and won't repeat it again.

Seeing the situation it seems that your colleague has committed some big mistake as your boss is taking him to the court. Now if it is a criminal sort of case than you can't do any thing as your boss will not allow him to run away without giving him an adequate punishment. If it is related to money than you can ask your friend to arrange the money and pay the boss for now or settle the case with some other agreement.
In any case you cannot force your boss to leave your colleague as this will cause both problem for you and your job. As this seems to be a big mistake for which your boss is really angry. You can also ask your colleague to go himself and talk to the boss and ask for forgiving him. If the boss will like he will forgive him. There is nothing else that can be done about it.

    Hi aspirant

It is good to see that you are so concerned about your colleague as such feelings and concern for others are very rare these days when everyone is so busy with their lives. You should definitely do something in this regard and should definitely persuade your boss not to drag your colleague to the court in this matter. Don't give up and try once more and I am sure you will be able to convince him.

Tell your boss that you certainly wish that he will not drag your colleague to the court for the mistake he has done. You think that this will ruin his career completely as no other company will give him a job in future. You think that your colleague certainly deserves another chance and that he can give him any other severe punishment which he thinks is fit for his mistake instead of dragging him to the court. You hope that he will understand your point and thus will show some mercy. You will be greatful to him.

I hope that your boss's heart melts and that he does not drag your colleague to the court. Good luck

    Hello,

I think your single effort wont bring a difference.Joint effort by majority of other colleagues if not all may force him to change his mind.If your friend's mistake has caused huge loss to the company, then it will be really difficult to stop from filing a case against him.Request from majority of the staffs working in the office may bring a difference. For that you have to personally approach to the other staffs so that they cooperate with you.The management may also call for a meeting where they can give your friend a warning and excuse him this time. This can be made possible only under joint appeal.

    Hello Aspirant,

It is not a good thing to commit any grave mistake purposely. If mistake committed unknowingly,it is different thing ,but if it committed knowingly, there must be some sort of punishment to the concerned.

It seems your boss is a very rigid person.Try to convince him not to take the matter to the court. The alternate option is to take bond from the the culprit not to commit such mistake in future.

So request your boss to take a bond in paper stating that he won't commit such mistake in future & if it found on his part,he will be liable for any action as per law.

Hope your boss will be agree & your colleague will get relief from the matter of court.

    Good luck.

    Hi friend...............

I think no, there is nothing you can do.
If your friend committed a mistake then it is not your duty to rectify that.
Your friend should be the one to sort that out.
Tell your friend to request your boss not to move to the court.
Out of court settlement can always be done.

    Thanks!!!
    GOOD LUCK.............

Your friend has done big mistake.

So he/she has to pay for that.

If the mistake was done by not knowing it then your boss may pardon him/her.

If the mistake is committed well knowing by your friend then he/she has to pay for that.

If it is possible to pay the loss done by your frient then take the money to boss with some more staff members and request him to forgive your friend and terminate him/her from job.

If boss is not hearing you then request to that person whose your boss hears.

Give him the cause politly when he is in good mood.
