Re: How to write a professional appeal letter to get the job back?

Job termination is the last resort which a company will do if an employee has done any mistake. It is a legal separation of the relationship between the employer and the employee. But even if the employment is terminated then the employee has a right to appeal against the termination. If the termination is illegal then the employee has a legal right to appeal for reinstatement.

First you should try to analyse what went wrong and is the mistake done by you grave or due your mistake any loss is caused to the company. Appeal letter to get back the job as to be framed properly and it is also very difficult. It has to be framed in such a way that the employer has to feel that you have to be given another chance. You should be very polite and your points should be straight.

You have to right your name, date, phone number and present position in the company you work. The first para you should mention the extract thing what had happened and what lead to your termination. Then the next para you should explain what all good things you have done in the past for the company such as past projects, job well done and performance reviews. What you want to do is that you should not mention your opinion and you should only state the facts. You should not fill the emotions in it.

In the last para you should mention what is the real purpose of this appeal. For Examble what I have intended in this appeal is that what all thing I have written above may be considered and when you take a final decision please take all these things in your mind.

You should not omit to close the letter with Thank you for giving these much time to read by appeal and put your signature in bottom.
