Generally within the corporations staff square measure promoted solely on the premise on the premise of the hardwork. Qualification square measure examined only if vacant post is said and candidate applied for identical. however promotion is principally supported your dedication towards the work and also the company, your accomplishment, honesty and also the labor . No, your promotion to next level won't be affected though you don't do the post graduation within the connected field. Since, recently you had got the promotion, thus it's higher if you simply think about the work.

Hi. I think most of the companies give promotions based on your work performance and experience but for certain posts maybe higher qualifications are required.

It varies from company to company depending upon their rules and policies. If your company has such a policy based on qualifications then maybe they will stick to it but in most of the companies promotion is given on the basis of experience and performance.

But i dont think you should worry. First you try to confirm the rules of your company and be sure of it. Then with your hard work and sincere effort show them that you are capable of promotion. They will surely think about it.

Dont be disheartened. Have confidence in yourself. Best of luck. Thanks

you need not worry much about your promotion.you know quqlification is needed to fulfil eligibility criteria and it is not directly related with promotion You will have your growth but yes, doing a MBA will always fetch you good amount of money in any industry.you have directly contact with the senior of the company and asks about the criteria of the company and what rules can company followed.

But If Post Graduation compulsory for the promotion then no other way for that.

    Hi,

--Nope your assumptions are not clear out of Cloud--

--Let me clear you something by what i know--

--Promotions are the Appraisal Fruit to an Employee for his Hard Work--

--It is one of the Encouragement & Motivational factor for the Employee to perform even more well in the Organization--

--Sometimes for Promoting an Employee relevant Experience & Educational Qualification may considered--

--But Educational Qualification is not only the major factor for the Promotion--

--If you think your PG may Fetch you something you can very well proceed--

--But Never assume that only the higher Education alone will get you to higher position--

--Hard Work, Dedication & Sincerity are the 3 major Seeds for the Successful Tree--

Re: Will my promotion be affected because of my Qualifications?

    Dear friend,

    Congratulation for getting one promotion.

Promotion policy differs from company to company.

In govt. department the promotion in not affected by higher qualification.

It depends only upon the senority & performence.

Also it is affected greatly on the reservation policy to SC/ST.

In pvt. organisation it is not similar.

Some of the company counts higher qualification for promotion.

Better you contact the manager,personnel/Administration to clear your doubts regarding promotion & other personal matter.

    Thanks.

Re: Will my promotion be affected because of my Qualifications?

    Hi buddy,

Not to worry for this issue.

Your Promotion is not based on your qualification.Qualification was criteria to get the job and not for promotion in same company.

Promotion is given based on experience and good work and not on qualification.

Doing post graduation will be an added advantage but it wont effect.

P.G will make your resume qualitative for your future company change.

    Good Luck
    !!!

    Thanks,

Will my promotion be affected because of my Qualifications?

I am working in one of the BPO company from past 3 years. I was working as process associate. I have completely my B.Sc and joined in this company. Recently I have been promoted to Team leader. I have heard that to get higher post than this we need to complete our post graduation. Will my promotion to next level will be affected if I donít do my post graduation? Are most of the promotion done on the basis of experience good work or on the basis of qualification?
