    Hi,

You must contact that person and ask him to repay his advance or to come for job for the required time.
This is very bad behavior of the staff member to leave the job after taking the advance and repaying also.
You must report this to higher authorities and get the advance back with the help of it.

Do not worry , it is not your mistake and you will not have to pay for it.

There should be some policies for giving advances , so that such problems do not occur.

    Thankyou

You are working in a private firm it is a risk to give advances to the people.if you do so and the people will not return the money.then you may be thrown out of the job by the company.so you call the people to whom you have given the money and ask them politely the taken money and tell them the necessity of paying the taken money.

    all the best

    thank you

Housekeeping staff not paying lended money

I work as an accountant in an automobile industry where there are housekeeping staffs which usually take advances and then repay them. But recently one of the staff members has not paid the amount and left the job. What shall I do in this?
