Dear Asker,Yes you can ask if you have service bond signed by the employee. Service bond is an agreement between employer and employee for a particular period. If he leaves within that period he has to pay some amonun specified in the bond.If you wont have any bond you may not able to get refund eventhough they left early.Hope this helps..

    Dear,
It is right that your company is going to suffer from unnecessary expense as your trained employee leaves.
But you may not ask for its reimbursement from the employee.
As because there has not been any such agreement.
Secondly you may try to catch the employee by a formal friendly discusion.
But you should be indifferent of this employee behavior.
So hence forward, try to make a agreement signed before the employees get training.
    Bye take care

    Dear Friend.

Am afraid that there is no such provision or piece of law which clearly deals in this matter. so i cannot give a suggestion which could be considered as a thumb rule.

But having said that you can ask for the expense if the concerned person resigns after the training period only if you have met with an agreement.

So what i suggest you is when a person joins the organisation you ask them to sign a bond or agreement which states that if they resign after the training period the amount should spent should be refunded.

I think this would work for you.

    Good luck....

    Dear Aspirant,

See now it is a time of opportunist. Most of the persons want to utilise the time & facilities in their favour.Your matter is concerned with company policy & terms & conditions of the appointment.I think it is not mentioned in the terms & conditions of the appointment to recover the amount of training if an employee resigns from the service after its completion. But the clause must have been mentioned with regard to the termination & resignation from the services.

So if it is mentioned in the terms & conditions of the appointment letter to recover the amount of training, you can recover it easily otherwise you may face obstacle to recover the amount. You may have to face the legal procedure.

So it will be better to make a policy in this regard to the employees. Before imparting training to the employees, get signed by the employees in a undertaking to pay the training amount,if one resign from the service within one or two years after the completion of training.

    Thanks & good luck.
