    Well team work always gets ahead of one's individual effort . so here you nee to stop thinking about your personal issues and gains rather you should show team work here . try to work with your full heartly concentration and dont worry if you are not getting noticed individualy, you make sure that you get noticed as the "most efficient" member of the group.

    Though there might be a tough competition when you are working in a group, But dont forget this is the only way to get individual gains too in your office. so dear friend buckle up and get ready for a "high five " performance

    Dear Aspirant,

    What you have said is totally correct.See what actually happens.There is a head of the office,team,state,country etc.It all depends upon the management of the head to get the work done properly & in time by the concerned individual.If the members of the team are happy with team leader,there are full interest in works among the members & consequently results better.In that case the credit goes in hand of the team leader,but in turn the team leader gives remaks to his/her members.If the time comes to write the confidential report for the individual,he/she writes well for those with whom he/she is satisfied.This report itself is good enough to get you promoted to higher post.

    Individual performance is appreciated & awarded when there are separate targets for the individual & team.Suppose,ther are 5 memebers in a team & if there are targets to achieve some works for the individuals & for team separately.In this case if the individual achieves the target,the team will automatically achieve its target.In this case the individual & team head both will be benifited separately.

    It seems that it has now become a custom that to contribute in a group.
    You need to realize the group that individual contribution is more important.
    You need to start this as soon as possible.

    Hi friend

    I can understand your situation when you dont get any appreciation for your hard work and effort. But when you are working in a team, such things are bound to happen and you may or may not get the credit you deserve. Thus you should show team spirit rather than thinking of your own personal gains. Once you work as a team member and show team spirit plus support your team ably in every task, your team leader will certainly take notice of your efforts and he may even tell about your efforts to the concerned manager or your employer. So the best thing for you would be to maintain good relations with your boss or team leader . Give 100% to your work and perform your tasks with full dedication. Then I am sure you will surely get noticed and get appreciation in your work.

    Work as a team and not on an individual basis. Do something extraordinary which will make your team leader take notice of your efforts in helping your team . Then I am sure all your hard work will get rewarded. I hope friend you understand what I am trying to tell you here. Co-ordinate well with your team members and thus help them to make your team be successful.
