    My salary was deducted by HR on the reason that I have taken more leave in a year

    I work as a senior accountant in accounting firm. I have 10 SL and 15 PL in year. Recently in this year in last July month I took 2 days leave as sick leave. There is no policy like that in our company that if we take more than one leave salary will be deducted. I got my salary this month and noticed that they have deducted my salary for 2 days. What should I do now? Whom should I talk about this? Please suggest?

    its definetly in your companu policies coz

    everywher its common that if you take more leaves

    than you got so yheir is duduction of your paynents.

    so dont blame on your HR try to understand the thongs.

    and go for it.

    Hi,

    Its strange that when you have enough leave balance in your account, your salary got deducted. Might be some misunderstanding has been done. You please contact your HR on this matter. You can ask them directly that why my two days salary has been got deducted.

    I hope once you will contact them your all doubts will get clear.

    Dear..

    Every company has its rules and regulation. It is already decided by the higher authority about the amount of leaves that a person can take and you have to plan according to that only. If you are exceeding your leave limit then it will surely result into deduction of your salary, but as you said that you have leaves pending in your kitty then first of all check whether there is a rule change or not, If a rule has changed then you can not do anything but if there is no such things happened then its better to raise the issue to your HR manager as well as your immediate senior.

    You can tell them about the matter and ask them about for the refund of the salary deducted. It is advisable to ask your HR about the companies leave policy once again as it will help you in stopping such kinda problem again and again.

    HELLO DEAR
    Every company has its own rule & regulation . Employer has to follow the rule & regulation of the company .If you have given the list no of days & you have taken more no of days then your salary is deducted.every companies has specified no of days for leave .If you take more leave than the list of company then your salary will be deducted . you can't blame on your HR . it is the rule of every company

    you can give the application for extra days leave to your HR .so that your salary will be less deducted

    Hi.. I think first of all you should check your company's rules and policies regarding this matter..Because its definitely a rule in companies that if you exceed the maximum no. of leaves provided to you then you have to pay some compensation and how you have to pay it will be mentioned in your company's policies..

    So its better that you check your company's policies properly and be sure that you are right..

    So if you are wrong and your company has such a policy of deduction of your salary then you cant do anything about it as you have broken the company rules and have to pay for it..

    But if you are right and there is no such rule then you should go and talk directly to your HR or some high official and i am sure he will give you more clarity on this..

    In the private sector each company has its own rules and regulations and they work according to that...
    As you have said that you have 10 SL offered by your company, So, if you still have not utilized those leaves but still your salary was deducted then you can give application
    to the Manager about this......
    But if you have already used all your leaves then the deduction of your salary is valid and you can't claim for the payment of those days on which you were absent....
    So, give the application only of your SL was not ended.......
