My friends advising me to serve in rural areas as a Doctor but I donít want to

I am just going to complete my MBBS. I want to get a good job after this . My friends are advising me to serve in rural areas after the completion of my degree as the pay is more but I donít want to due to the bad conditions there. Now I am really confused. Should I follow their advice or have my own way?

    hello,
as you are a grownup the decision is yours whether to work in rural areas or in urban areas.its a good thing if you serve it in rural than in urban.every person wants to serve in urban areas so what the status of rural areas.who will take care for them if something happens to them.who's responsible if a person dies if he is not given so prescribed medicine.doctor is nothing but a god in our culture so you should not bother about the luxuries which will be awesome in urban rather than in rural.the profession you choose is to serve the people rather for your luxury life.
so as a profession of doctor you should once think about it.think twice before you act.
    thank you.....................

    Hello friend...

    Congrats in advance...

Taking advice/suggestions is not wrong...listen to all the solutions you have got,and make a final decision which you feel like best..!!

Being a doctor serving patients is much important irrespective of the place you work...Where ever you work, see to it that you get 100 % result...cause it's a matter of ones life..!!

    All the best...

    Hello,

You should always listen to yourself only.If you are not comfortable with the idea of going to any remote place for your medical practice, then dont do.If you join any govt. hospital as a medical practitioner, then you have to go where ever you will be posted. You wont be given any choice in that case. Now if you want to get a good job and stay within the urban area you can join any good private hospital and give your career a good start. Then there will also be no issues regarding private practice.
