My friend pleading me for copying my ideas

I am working in a private firm. We are a team of 5 members working on a particular project. One of my team members is very lazy and never completes his work on time. Now he is pleading me to show him my work so that he can copy my ideas. But I donít think it is good for his future. How to explain this to him?

Dear whenever your team member ask you for your work then you should directly refuse him to tell anything about your work and your abilities that how and what do you do to make a very good work and performance in any particular project and if he force you more than enough then you should say to him that you are not standing on your legs and you wanna copy my thoughts and ideas to complete your work and responsibilities which is completely unfair about this and because of this demerit you may never make your career very good in your entire future because you do are not interested in work from your hear that is why you do not complete your work on the time and i am really very sorry to say that i may not help you at all in your work because company gave you some responsibilities and if you will not complete those responsibilities then how would you show your face to the boss and how will you get allowances and incentives

    All the best

obviously ,it is not good for his future and you too.
if you are allowing him to copy now then he will become more lazy and always try to copy.
so,best way is that you should help him by assisting in completing his assignment as he is your friend.
it will take your some precious time but it will help him very much.
another disadvantage of copying your idea will affect you as both of you will submit same assignment then it will create bad impression of you.
so ,avoid it and help him.

    Dear Aspirant,

In fact it is not good to ask every time to copy your report by others.Later when it is examined, your colleague may say that you have copied his/her report.

So whenever,he ask for the same, you can give some idea of doing the work. You can convince him to do his own work himself which will make him independent in this regard & develop his capability to do works.

If he forces you to do the same thing, you may report the matter to your boss or you can pretend not to have done your work. But reporting the matter to the boss,You should say it to your colleague not to force
you, otherwise the matter may go to the boss.

    Thanks & good luck.

    Hello,

You should never allow your co-worker to copy your work or idea. This thing happens to lazy
people like your co-worker. In a team project every memebr is given certain work to perform
and if somebody does not perform his or her work the entire peoject will suffer in the long run.
So, you should tell your friend to complete his or her work.

    Bye,

Hii, well obviously it is not a good idea. H should understnd the fact that he can not take the credit of working in a group by copying your ideas. You should directly say a big no to him. If he really wants to show that he has worked then he should work on his own. And its not your responsibilty to take care of his faults and weakness. If he is lazy that is his own problem. He should deal with it.Your career is in your hand you can not misuse it. So my dear friend say no and be focused on your work. I am sure you will get success. Thanks

You cannot let him to copy your ideas as it is not good for both you and your friend. You should make him clear that you cannot allow him to copy his

ideas just because you are his friend, say him that as a friend you can help in solving any problem but he has to do his work by himself.

Ask him that will he admit in front of the boss that he has copied your ideas if your boss comes to know that one of you has copied from other.

Tell him that if he doesn't do his work with sincerity it will cause him problem in future and will affect his career growth.

See, when it comes to the ideas, he may copy your ideas and can complete his job once. But remeber you won't be there with him all throughout his career. He may attain succes by copying anyones ideas once or twice but not always. You can save him from acquiring the habit of copying work by strictly denying to him.Don't be the one destroying his career. Moreover this is the time of professionalism and being practical, if you keep sharing your ideas on a no charge or fee basis, you will eventually loose your value and people will therefore take you for granted. Maintain your individuality.

You should not allow your friend for copying your ideas even if he is pleading. It's not good for the future of both. Once you share your ideas to him, he will always be depended on you in every project for in ideas in future. Even if he is appreciated for his work then he won't give due credit to you and may be your's work may also not be noticed. In such situation, you should politely say NO to your friend for sharing ideas however you may help in otherway for completing his work. You can encourage him to work, boost up his confidence, ask him to tell the help of seniors if any problem arises.
