My daughter wants to work at my position for 6 months

I am working in a government organisation. I have to go out of India for some personal work for the next 6 months. So my daughter is thinking of taking up my job for that duration. But I don’t know whether my management will allow her to do so. Will my daughter be allowed to work at my position ?

no, sir its against the rules of government even in private organisation your daughter is not allowed to work, its illegal to do it.. how can your daughter with no experience in such organisation work this is not teaching field that some one can take class on behalf of someone... that to its an govt organisation, government employees are working under the an extreme rules you cannot float rules.. management will not allow these illegal practice...

Re: My daughter wants to work at my position for 6 months

    Hello Aspirant,

It is a government organisation where employees are recruited to work on the basis of certain criteria which cannot be interchanged with any member of the family officially. It is highly objectionable and not permitted. The legal heir gets job on compensation basis after the death of the employee.

So, if you are urgently required to go on foreign trip for a period of six months, you can go on leave. You may have sufficient number of earned leaves which can be utilised for a period of six months together with full salary. If not, you can go on leave with loss of pay because the urgency you have got is more important than your salary, if you think so.

So, see the situation and move ahead.

    Thanks and Good luck

    Hi aspirant

The best answer to this question of yours can be given by your management only. now if your daughter has the required qualifications and the job experience for your post then I am sure that your management will have no problem in giving her your position for 6 months when you are going abroad. You should better go and talk to your management and get this matter sorted out as soon as possible.

Tell them that as you are going out of India for some personal work, your daughter would like to take up your position for the time being. She is ably qulified and you are sure that she will be able to carry out her work with full dedication and conviction. You hope that they will give her a chance so that she can prove her mettle and you guarantee them that she will not let them down.

I am sure that your management will definitely give her your position if they think that she is perfectly fit for the same. I hope that you understand my point. Good luck and Thanks

    Hello sir,

I don't think so this could be possible...

    > As it is a government organisation, it has lots of rules and restrictions...

    > As far as I know, I've never heard of replacement possibilities..!!

    Thank you...
