My Company is telling me to leave the company during probationary period without any reason

I have appointed in this company as Project management officer and I am on probationary period. I have finished only 2 months and still 4 months are pending. My organization has told me to leave this company during this period without any reason. They are not telling any valid reason except that there is no position existing now. Please tell what should I do in such case?

You cannot do anything in this case as company has said to you that the position for which you were hired does not exist.

You just need to check your appointment letter for the terms and conditions in regards to removal from the company
If your company has follwed that than you have to leave this company and search for another job.
So check your appointment letter once and start looking for another job.

    Dear Aspirant,

Don't be disappointed. Many things happens in life.We have to face properly.

Being a private company ,you can not do any thing, but you can request your appointing authority to allow you to continue there till you get job elsewhere.

This way you will get experience for some time.

Meanwhile you must try your level best to get another job as early as possible.

In order to get another job, register your self to "nakri.com,Job.com.etc.

Also send your resumes to some of the organisations related for your job.

Also read the employment news paper, the Times of India,The Hindu News Paper regularly.

    Thanks & best of luck.

did you signed any kind of contract detailing the probation period and any terms and conditions that make them in power to fire you out of office ?

If you signed one, you might need to revise the documents with you. If you find any clause that says they may ask you to leave their office in between your probation period as well, then you can do nothing. But if they don't have anything signed by you or have not told you earlier through an accountable source, you can sue them in court. But it won't be easy to fight against the whole management in court.

Thanks and Best of luck wishes..!!

    hi,

I am sorry to tell this you are left with no option than to leave the company.

In the offer letter if there is any mention of this then you cannot question back.

Its the company wish friend to decide upon this.

And one more you also cannot leave the company without serving the probation period.

The company has every own right to do so if you have any document signed against it.

Sometimes companies do this when fall of crisis of economy.

Do lose hope and get fedup.

You will get a better offer than this.

    Best wishes !!

You have no alternative left, if company is asking to leave the job during probationary period, then you are liable to do the same. The position for which you appointed, since no longer available, you must leave the company. These days companies are facing recession period, unavailability of the new projects which are forcing them to take these kind of steps. But if you have written agreement with the company and it's for a certain tenure, then the company has no right to make you leave the company untill it's tenure. If they try to do the same, then you can take a legal action against the company with the help of court.

well in probationary period you have no option but to bargain on the conditions

Also ask them the reason for the same , may be they are over employed and dont need further employees

there may also be the case that the position for which you were hired is no longer required , so ask for better alternatives

Also if you want you can go to the consumer court for betterment , but i would suggest you to look out for the job in some other company

Re: My Company is telling me to leave the company during probationary period without any reason

    Hello Friend,
This is unfair to terminate any one without any reason and any proof .you are an employee so you have right to ask the reason for termination and they are bound to provide the same.and if they dont then you can take legal action against them
but in the time of probation period candidates are more vulnerable to termination as its the time they are under training and are not billable and valuable resource for any organization so this time if they take any action against you for any of your misdeed then you cant complain against them.
but you surely need to fight if they dont provide the reason and proof.
    thank you.
