My colleague trying to prescribe medicines beyond his scope

I have done my MD and am doing my practice as a specialist. But one of my colleagues who has only done his MBBS is prescribing certain medicines which are beyond his scope. I definitely believe that this is highly immoral and also illegal. I have also tried to tell him but without any success. How to make him realise his mistake?
