My client wants to take his case back at the last moment

I am a lawyer by profession. I am almost nearing the end of a very important case of my career. But now my client says that he wants to take the case back. I donít think this is the right thing to do. Also this can even affect my reputation. How to explain this to my client?

    Hello,

There must be a number of reasons which is somewhat compelling your client to take back the case.

1.He might be facing pressure from different sources to withdraw the case.
2.He might be facing financial constraint to proceed with the case even further.
3.Or he might be anticipating some unknown fear

These may be the probable 3 causes for which he is thinking of withdrawing the case. Now as a lawyer you have to enquire into the matter and derive the actual reason behind such withdrawal.Depending on the reason, you have to necessary take action .

    Hello Aspirant,

It happens some times. There may be some reasons behind it.You must enquire of the reasons & try to convince the client. If the client is facing the financial problem, you may give him some relief. If the client is fear of some incident, you can show him a way to face it.

What I mean is that you should convince him any how not to withdraw his case.If he is agree otherwise he is free to draw his case.Being a lawyer, you need not worry for your case.Compare yourself with doctors & be free .Confine to your duty as well.

    Good luck.
