My boss projecting me as the culprit when it was he who misbehaved with the clients

I am working in a MNC. Just 2 days back we had an important meeting with the clients in which I, too was present. My boss misbehaved with them as he lost his control and later when they complained to the higher authorities, he put the whole blame on me. I don’t think this is fair. What to do in such a situation?

Dear Aspirant,

It usually happens in professional career.You should defend yourself before your employer or senior authority to your boss.If possible you can get support from your colleagues otherwise the clients themselves can say that who misbehaved with them.

Need not worry.your senior authority may do justice to you.Boss takes credits of the juniors & give blames to them,because the person who is boss now was also like you once.But true is true & victory is for truth only.

So be happy & get it proved that you did not misbehave with the clients by the clients itself.Let them say that your boss lost his temper & got angry upon the clients.

In such situations you need to play smartly, as you said that your boss has projected you as a culprit, so you need to prove yourself right then you should take care of such things like- first thing there must be a CCTV camera where the meeting held in your company, second thing never discuss regarding the CCTV footage with any of the employee of your organisation whatever you do do it secretly, just go to the engineering department/ or the maintenance department for the same and just ask them to give the footage of that room where the meeting has happened then they will help you alot regarding this as everything will be recorde inside the camera that whatever happened inside the room and then at the time of proving your self you can show that tape to the higher authorities and screw your boss *** so never worry of such boss who dont know how to deal with the clients.
