My boss not allowing me to change into casuals for the night shift

I am working in a private firm. Our boss is very strict regarding the clothes worn by the employees and our company has strict rules in this regards. We are only allowed to wear formals. But as I am going to start my night shift, I requested him to allow me to wear casuals during the late hours but he is not even allowing that. I donít think this is fair. What to do in such a situation?

    Hello...

Your boss is no way unfair towards you..

As all the employees are prior intimated about the dress code, its rules and regulations.., you are supposed to make any further requests regarding it..

Permitting casuals to you leads to partiality towards you in the views of your co-employees and this further leads to a big issue...

Hope you could understand the consequences and adjust working happily with the formals..

    ThanQ...

    heyy,
Since you are in a professional world, presentation here matters a lot. Wearing the appropriate clothing and attitude is really important. You may work at night shifts but since its a rule to wear formals you should abide by the rules. You never know when you may have to give a presentation or may have to present yourself anywhere. You should be ready for any kind of work or emergency and besides that it also looks good when you work in a perfect manner. It also builds self confidence and sends good vibes in the environment too.

You are thinking from your view point as you want to wear more comfortable dress so that you can be relaxed in the night shifts.

But you have to obey the rules and regulations that you are instructed as you are the employee of the company and following the rules of the

company is also a part of the job.

The professional dress codes are made to maintain a professional environment in the office it is not for any ones comfort.

So don't think of it much as these small things can strain relations between you and your boss.
