    My boss never entertain on salary topics

    I have been working in a private concern over a year but all the time I ask my boss for salary hike, he diverts the conversation to some other topic, when I try to discuss the same again he scolds me unnecessarily. I am really disappointed please suggest what to do?

    First of all in any way possible you try to tell your boss that you think you deserve a salary hike based on your achievements..You have always been punctual and completed all your tasks in time..Tell him about your achievements..Tell him that you deserve better than this..Dont let him diverge from the topic and if he does so then try to politely manipulate him and make him come back to the same tiopic again..Also tell him emotionally that you may have to leave this job if there is no growth..

    I hope he listens to you as such people seldom change..But if he doesnt its better for you to leave this job and search for a better one where there is more professional growth as you certainly deserve better ..I hope you understand..

    That is true. Most of the bosses do not like to talk about the salary. When an employee comes to join at first the employer will tell that you will be getting this and this amount after this month and they make them believe that they will surely fulfill the promise. But the tern comes they do not will not fulfill the promise and they pretend as if no promise was made on their parts.

    If you have the right or ability for getting a better salary than what you are getting now then you have the right the ask for the same. What you have to do is that you have to personally talk to your boss when he is free and say to him that you are working for the company for the past one year and now you have enough experience for a salary hike. You should tel him what you have achieved during these years of work.

If they forbid directly to hike salary. It mean they are not interested in you. And you should search for new jobs immediately where you can get more changes to grow your career with hike salary.

    When you always talk about your salary hike,the manager gets bad impression.You should discuss about progress in works,improvement in working culuture etc.You should take credit of your works in order to please the manager so that you automatically get hike in salary.Also you should know the policy of salary hike in the company.

    So concentrate on your works.You will be paid in due time.
