    My boss has given me my termination letter without any prior information and has not mentioned any reason for the same

    I am working in a private firm. Recently my boss gave me my termination letter without mentioning any reason for the same. Neither did he give me any prior information regarding it. I am feeling very cheated and want to get justice in this case. What should be done in such a situation?

    Dear Friend,

    It is very unfortunate that your boss has given you the termination letter and that also without any reason and prior information. It is incorrect, autocratic and unethical attitude.

    You have not mentioned about your company. Whether it is a large organization or a small company. If it is a small company then it is his wish and probably not much you can do. But if it a large organization then there are certain set of rules and guidelines and everyone must follow that. You should go through that and check for any such clauses.

    Usually, some time is given to the employees to look for another job and the reason is clearly explained for the termination. You should definitely take up this matter with your boss and if he does not satisfy you then you should go to the higher authority in your company.

    Friend according to your statement suddenly you received termination letter from your boss,for this you were not ready without mentioning any reason this termination letter was isued by the boss.You are feeling cheated and thinking to get justice in this case.

    Friend according to recruitment rules without prior notice such termination is not possible so that you have to notice your boss and seek reasons strongly why he has issued such illegal termination to you?Often it is written in the appointment letter your sevice may be terminated with 1(one)month prior notice.Without
    intimation a Boss can not issue termination letter.If your boss dows not give any justified reasons having your notice/letter then you must issue a letter with the help of an appropriate professsional advocate,it is sure you will get justice, after that at the time of joining when you receive appointment letter who was the signatory authorit accordingly you contact with them eg to the Head Office/Managerial office at the senior management level.
