Money borrowed by colleague, colleague left the company

My colleague, who resigned and has moved another city, has borrowed money from me and other colleagues. I have spoken to my boss but he says that it is not company’s responsibility. How can I take action against the outgoing colleagues?

    Hello..

Friend , your boss is right. He didn't say you to give any amount to that guy. So friend if you gave any amount to him , you must have some strong relationship with him , then only you can give any amount to any guy, so in this case try to know where he lived and he must have a contact number , try to find that and talk to him. Then , if he is honest he will definitely return your money.
This is the only way , you can have your money back.

    Thanks.
    Take care.

    Hi,

You must lend money to responsible person only.
Your boss is right it is not the company's fault.

You can call that colleague if your contact number.
You can also contact him through social websites like face book or twitter or yahoo, etc.
You should tell him to return your money as a courtesy.
He cannot go away by taking every ones borrowed money without any notice.

If he is a good person, he will surely return your money.

    Good luck

    Hi,

Your manager is right in this case.If your colleague has borrowed money from you and other colleagues then it is not company's responsibility. The company did not tell you lend money to that colleague. So have given money to that colleague by yourself and on your trust basis. Here company is not involved in your matter and it is considered as personal matter.

Now, you try to contact that person because you want your money back.
If you have his contact number then tell him that he must return your and other colleague's money.
You can also tell him this on facebook if he has facebook profile.
Or you can contact him through any other social website in which he has his account.

If he is a good person then he will surely return your money.Since he has left without telling anything to you that means he has no intentions of returning your money. So you must still try but if he does not then just forget it by thinking that you have made donation.
    Good luck

    Hello,

This is a very common thing at work place. Don't worry there is solution for this problem. If you have his contact number then you should contact him and remind him about the money. If your collegue has changed his contact number then you should contact him via e-mail or other social networking sites such as facebook, orkut etc. An honest man will always pay his dues in time and if your colleague is an honest man he too will retun your money. Patience is the key my firend. You should wait some time to see wheather he is ready to return your money or not. If not then you have to take legal action against him.

    Bye,

    hi
well in that case first of all you need to find out that who was his good friend at the time when he was in your company.
because no matter where he has gone, his friends must have known that where he is right now and what are his present contact number.
and after getting the contact number of that employee you should contact him and ask him for your money
    gud luck

    hello..

you helped your colleague but that person want to cheat you.

my kind advice is if you know the person very confident then only you should give the money..otherwise just say i don't have this time,sorry..

for this situation, your boss is not responsbility to your money.

so,only thing you can get their address and phone number with help of others, try to find out him.

and then ask for the money.if he is not giving means, you can produce the case against him if you have the evidence..

otherwise there is noway to get.to leave it..... choice is yours..

    thank you.

    Hello friend

It is so sad to hear that you haven't got your money back which you gave to to one of the colleague,it is not only your problem but of many of them are facing such problem, many times when our friend are in need of money then we help them but after taking it they forget everything, they forget that due to their this type of attitude no one is going to him in the future.due to this true faces of many of them come in front of us.

And, friend your boss is absolutely write in his place and he is not at all responsible for the matter.and also he can't help you in this matter.you and your colleague only would have to something so that you may get your money back.

First of all you should try to contact him through telephone and try to know when he is going to return back your money.
If you haven't his new contact then you can get the help of social network sites such as facebook, orkut, twiter etc you can message him their and explain your problem their.
if their is no reply then you should talk to your boss and try to get his new address and contact number through the documents submitted by him at the time of resigning(if any).you and your colleague can talk and one of them can go to his place and get your money back.

I am sure if he is man of good attitude and your good friend then he would surely understand your problem and soon return your money back, also it is the possibility that he might had forgotten so contact him soon.

    All the best
    Thank you.
