Is MBA course is compulsory to become a Manager in my company or just by experience we can get the Manager post?

I am working in a corporate sector company and I have worked for 3 years yet the newly recruited MBA students are being given managerial post where as there is neither a salary increase nor a promotion of mine. I want to get promoted to the Manager post? Is it like we have to do MBA course to become a Manager or I will be promoted by the company after gaining a 8-10 years experience? Can you tell me what is the criteria to get the promotion for Manager post in a software company?

    Hello Friend,

Yes, there is always a great demand for MBAs in corporate sector. MBA or Master of Business Administration is a two year full time course and it can change your career graph to a great extent. After completion of your MBA you can joina any firm as a manager. But you also have to consider the huge expenses of MBA course and two year dedicated study. Last but not the least you have to appear for CAT, XAT or MAT types MBA entrance exams.

Generally, candidates with MBA, MCA or M.Tech are preferred as the suitable individual for the managerial post. So you should consider your option of doing MBA so that you can get a postition of your choice.

    Bye,

For your kind information that manager post is the rank in the office or department in that the manager has to manage and control over all the department of the office that is why he is called manager and managerial skills and techniques are learned by those candidates first who are not experienced but they have completed either Master's Degree in Management or Post Graduate Diploma in Management and Business Administration so this type of courses team them everything about that they need to see in future after sometime of job so MBA and other PGD courses in management makes them qualified and enough eligible to get the job and control the entire office that is why MBA holders are recruited first for job and mainly for manager and other equal ranks as Assistant Management or Senior Manager that is why you should also think about the same

If you have worked for three years and did not get any promotion then you should know the value of MBA at this time because if you will have an MBA then MBA will give you good knowledge about business management and the subject that you will choose as specialization so you will be master in everything about that subject and managing the entire department so do not wait for others and just find out any good university that offers MBA and as you are in job so you should apply for open education MBA or private MBA and there are some universities that provides classes according to the demand of students and gives you degree of full time MBA as - Barkatullah University Bhopal - Madhyapradesh recognized by UGC so you should find such universities and take your favorite subject in MBA and I would suggest you to choose for MBA in Human Resource Management to get more profit in future and get promotion soon

    All the best

MBA plays a key role in the management sector those who have the MBA will be given priority in the management sector and also paid high salary and even the candidates a can become the H.R for the company in small span of time if he has done the MBA.

Even work experience is considered but it is secondary only those who have done the MBA will be given the preference.According to me there are very less chances of getting the promotion for Manager post in a software company but you have the chance of improvement/increment in your salary.
