Manager prohibiting me from performing workouts in free time

: I am working in a private firm. I have the habit of performing my workouts ( i.e. gym exercises using dumbbells) during my lunch time for about half an hour, to keep myself fit and healthy. I use the meditation room for the same. But recently my manager called me and prohibited me from performing my workouts in the meditation room.He didnít give any reason for the same. How to deal with such a situation as I think that is unfair?

    Dear friend,
I can understand when suddenly you have to stop your routine its make you nervous but you have to find out first that why your boss has taken this decision? discuss with your colleagues may some colleague has misguide your boss for you or you can ask reason to your boss directly.

    Hi friend

I don't think your manager should have behaved with you in such a way and should definitely not have prohibited you from doing your workouts in the meditation room. And if he has done so, he should have given you a concrete reason for the same. You should definitely keep doing your workouts and not sacrifice them for anything , even if you have to do them at some other place. But first you should go and talk to your manager and get this matter cleared.

Tell your manager that you perform your workouts for half an hour during the lunch , in the meditation room, to keep yourself fit and healthy and thus you request him to not prohibit you from doing the same. You hope that he will understand your situation and thus will not put this restriction on you. You don't get any time to perform your workouts at your home and thus you have to perform it here.

I hope your manager will comply with your wishes. But if he doesn't then you should ask him the reason for the same and to tell you about an alternate place for performing your workouts. I hope he will give you a satisfactory reply and thus will help you out. good luck and Thanks

    Hello Friend,
As you have mentioned it is your habit of doing workouts in meditation room and you have been doing it for quite a long time.and all of a sudden your manager asks you not to do workout in meditation room ,the reason behind this may be someone have ccomplained against you for using meditation.in corporates every department is constructed for some purpose so you may be using that for gym for a long time but you have to change that practice as people started complaining about it.you can go to gym if you dont want to give up your hobbit. regarding free times in every work they give 45-60 minutes break in your total work duration and if you could manage that properly then there will be no issue.
    Thank you.
